Hi, I’m a Latina Christian therapist, and I work best with students who feel like they’re carrying a lot—whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, or just trying to figure out who they are. Many of my clients are first-generation immigrants or come from multicultural backgrounds and are navigating big transitions, like moving away from home, balancing family expectations, or finding their voice in new spaces. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood, you're not alone. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR to help process trauma, DBT and CBT to build practical coping skills, and even animal-assisted therapy for emotional support. I create a space where you can show up as your full self—culturally, spiritually, and emotionally—and be met with care and understanding. If that sounds like what you need, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

When life goes differently than anticipated you may be left grieving, feeling disconnected from life, or from yourself. You deserve to have a compassionate space to process and honor your experiences. Together, we'll explore the narratives woven through your life, understanding how past experiences continue to shape your present reality. We will reconnect you to your power, build resiliency, and learn to use your voice to live your life more authentically. With a relationship built with trust and compassion, you're invited to explore your deepest truths, express your fears, and bravely write a new story for your life. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and your voice, experiences, and perspective are central to our work together. Depending on your needs, we'll examine how family, gender, culture, and social expectations have influenced your sense of self, relationships, and aspirations. I draw from a variety of frameworks including Feminist, Narrative, and Family Systems. Reaching out is hard. If it scares you, you're not alone. You may try considering if your fear is saying "now's not the right time" or if its something more akin to "what will this change in my life". Curiosity, excitement, & the adrenaline of taking "the next step" can feel scary. Whatever you decide, trust you're right on time in your own journey.
Today's world is too often scary and overwhelming. For many of us, learning to function & adapt in life as a child, teen or young adult is confusing & difficult. Working together, you will become equipped to navigate day to day life & the unexpected, emerging stronger, smarter & happier. I am passionate about helping children, teens & young adults understand their emotions through play therapy & cognitive behavior therapy, within a family systems approach. I have valuable experience helping children and families deal with grief, behavioral issues, stress, depression, trauma, & school-related issues. Working with Wellspring Therapeutic Partners means I regularly consult with our team of prescribers and psychologists who specialize in a variety of areas.
