Melissa Burke
I work with college students and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment concerns, trauma, grief and loss, burnout, self-esteem challenges, and major life changes. Whether you're working through past experiences or trying to better understand yourself in the present, I strive to create a supportive, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
As a strength-based therapist, I believe every person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and healing. I see each client as a unique individual whose experiences have shaped them but do not define them. My approach is grounded in authenticity, respect, and meeting you where you are—without judgment.
I believe healing happens through genuine connection and in relationships where people feel safe enough to be themselves. Together, we'll explore your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward creating a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your goals and values.
I am a Licensed Limited Master Social Worker (LLMSW) and have worked in the field of social work since 2010. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and welcome students and individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
