I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, boundary-setting, life transitions, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are overwhelmed by stress, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficult past experiences that continue to impact their daily lives. Together, we explore these patterns, build on existing strengths, and create meaningful change that supports greater balance, confidence, and well-being. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I utilize an integrative framework that considers the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, values, and relationships. I am also an EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist and offer EMDR when it is clinically appropriate and aligned with your goals. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right therapist is important. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore challenges openly and move toward the changes that matter most to you. If my approach sounds like a good fit, I welcome you to reach out.

College can be a time of excitement, growth and discovery, but it can also bring uncertainty, stress, and deep emotional challenges. I specialize in supporting college students who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, OCD, autism, trauma, and the unique transitions that come with emerging adulthood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in relational and trauma-informed care. I understand that for many students, college life can amplify feelings of overwhelm, self-doubt, or disconnection. In our work together, I aim to create a space where you can slow down, unmask, and reconnect with your strengths and sense of self. Whether you’re adjusting to new independence, managing academic pressures, healing from past experiences, or seeking tools for emotional regulation and focus, therapy is a space to explore your path with compassion and curiosity. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, self-acceptance, and meaningful ways of coping that honor who you are.

Hi, I'm Lauren! I am a non-binary, queer AuDHD therapist practicing psychodynamic clinical social work in Massachusetts and Oregon. I also identify as white and mid-fat. My pronouns are she/they. In my practice, I specialize in working with adults who identify as, or are exploring whether they may be, LGBTQIA2S+ and/or neurodivergent, especially autistic and/or ADHD. In addition, I help clients work through issues related to depression, anxiety, and relational difficulties. Through an affirming and integrative approach, I provide a warm and supportive therapeutic environment for clients to explore their inner selves and make positive changes in their lives. My work with clients is collaborative, as together we delve into the reasons behind persistent challenges and unearth new aspects of their identities and experiences, ultimately making space for growth, healing, and flourishing. For neurodivergent clients, our sessions often involve working on strategies to improve executive functioning, which includes skills like task initiation, time management, organization, attention, and planning. My approach is aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) framework.

Welcome! My name is Molly Sterling and I am an able bodied, White, cis woman. I provide individual, trauma-focused therapy to adults 18+. I work with adults in individual therapy focused on healing past trauma, developing effective coping strategies to manage anxiety or panic symptoms, or navigating a difficult life transition, such as new parenthood. I believe in the power of connection and curiosity, and I strive to meet clients with compassion, wherever they are on their healing journeys. I am committed to providing therapy that is collaborative, responsive, and affirming. Though I do not identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am an ally and am committed to understanding dynamics of privilege and oppression. I am neurodivergent affirming and Health at Every Size informed. I am currently seeing clients virtually on Thursdays from 9am to 6pm, with more availability coming soon! I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and relationship issues. Even more specifically, my specialty rests in helping women navigate the anxiety and overwhelm that arises when they think about saying no, setting boundaries, or expressing their true opinions. Many of my clients are exhausted from agreeing to things they don’t want to do, staying in relationships out of obligation or fear, or managing a busy social life that leaves them feeling unfulfilled and ultimately disconnected. As an attachment-based therapist, I work with women to uncover the roots of these patterns in their relationships, helping them get grounded in their values and build the courage to show up authentically. My approach helps to create context for conditioned behaviors and beliefs so that clients find their voice, face the fear of speaking their truth, and experience the freedom of being unapologetically themselves and more aligned with their values. I take a holistic approach to treatment, combining somatic work, nervous system regulation, and relational therapy. My work also incorporates nutrition and movement to support overall wellness, empowering clients to align their physical, emotional, and relational health. I completed my applied graduate training at Portland State University's Student Health and Counseling Center as a psychologist intern and was employed there as a part-time psychologist before opening my private practice. My residency was completed at Reed College Health and Counseling Center and I have also had the wonderful opportunity to complete early field work training at University of Portland's Health and Counseling Center. I love working with college students and it is a joy to be able to provide students with the opportunity for longer-term psychotherapy.

Relationships are vital to our health and well-being, yet few of us have been trained how to foster and maintain healthy ones. I support the development of healthy relationship skills by focusing on emotional expression, relational skill development, and personal empowerment. Rekindling the trust, emotional connection, and playful spark necessary for healthy relationship is a process of establishing mutual goals, building new skills of emotional intelligence and embodied communication while healing old wounds. We are always, already in relationship; whether it is a relationship to another person, place, or oneself, we are in some way connected and affected by our surroundings. As such, it is in relationship that our deepest hurts can take place, and it is also in relationship that our most profound and liberating healing can occur. As a therapist, I work side-by-side with you, and it is in our own relationship together that we explore and uncover your greatest strengths, as well as all the ways you may unconsciously hold yourself back. My specialties include working with adults recovering from trauma experienced as a child or an adult. I enjoy working with individuals who are stuck in relationship patterns and are looking to break these patterns. I have expertise working with college students of all ages and people struggling with life transitions. My office is safe and affirming no matter your race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, or physical ability.

College is a time of change—new experiences, growing independence, and sometimes, overwhelming stress. If you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or struggling with a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m Rachel Boll, LPC, and I specialize in helping college students like you find clarity, confidence, and relief from stress, anxiety, and past trauma. How I Can Help Many students come to me feeling burned out, lost, or weighed down by experiences they haven’t fully processed. Maybe you’re: ✔ Struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, or self-doubt ✔ Feeling stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you ✔ Navigating a major transition—graduation, changing relationships, or redefining your identity ✔ Carrying the weight of past trauma and ready to heal I use a holistic, mind-body approach, incorporating EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness, and somatic therapy to help you work through stress, anxiety, and trauma in a way that feels right for you. What It’s Like to Work with Me Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about giving you the space, tools, and support to feel more grounded, clear, and empowered. If you’re ready to start feeling more in control of your life, I’d love to support you.

I aim to create an environment that is respectful, supportive, and collaborative. My approach to therapy is primarily based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). A core idea in ACT is that trying too hard to get rid of or control our emotions tends to backfire. Thus, instead of trying to get rid of unwanted thoughts, feelings, or emotions, I will help you learn to react differently to them so that you can keep your focus on living a meaningful and fulfilling life based on what’s important to you. This type of approach places your values at the center of therapy. Using your values and existing strengths as a foundation, we will work together to set meaningful goals to address your concerns –whether they relate to life transitions, depression, anxiety, body image, grief/loss, job or academic stress, or gender and sexuality. I have extensive training in working with transgender and gender diverse adults, youth, and families. Transgender clients seeking assessment or counseling services can expect a safe space, and respectful, non-pathologizing, collaborative care. If you are looking for someone to work with regarding gender identity and exploration, I can provide education, support, preparation, and, if indicated, reports/letters for surgery.

Making Sense of Your Experiences Over nearly three decades of working with clients, I've come to appreciate how resilient people really are. I've learned that meaningful change often begins when we better understand what has shaped the way we think, feel and behave. Therapy can offer a place to make sense of those influences, recognize patterns that may no longer be working and develop new ways of approaching life that feel more effective and sustainable. Many of the clients I work with are gaining a deeper understanding of how early relationships and experiences continue to affect the way they see themselves, relate to others and respond to challenges in the present. Some have spent years feeling on edge, different, misunderstood or unsure of themselves. Others find that the ways they have learned to cope or connect with others are no longer serving them well, leaving them feeling disconnected, stuck or unsure of what comes next. Therapy can help create greater clarity around these experiences and what you'd like to be different going forward. Understanding How You’re Wired A significant focus of my practice is working with adults with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, including those diagnosed later in life. For many, discovering they have ADHD in adulthood brings both relief and grief, as years of experiences begin to make sense through a different lens. With that understanding, many begin to see their past experiences, struggles and strengths in a new light. Together, we can explore what helps you function at your best, build on your strengths, quiet self-doubt and help you feel more at ease and confident in yourself. How I Approach Therapy I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual. No two people bring the same history, strengths, needs or way of seeing the world. My approach is warm, collaborative and practical, with plenty of room for curiosity, reflection and real-life problem solving. We’ll work together in a way that feels intentional, useful and genuinely suited to you. No matter what brings you here, my hope is that therapy helps you understand yourself with greater clarity, self-compassion and confidence.

I believe the role of a therapist is to be more than a reflective and empathetic companion in the client’s journey and must also incorporate directive approaches in order to alternate between being a companion and being a leader on that journey. Inherent in this belief is that clients are coming to therapy because they want something different than what they currently have. This can be as simple as a new perspective on a past or current struggle or as complex as a new skill set for managing and overcoming emotional, behavioral, cognitive, relational, or somatic patterns that have arisen in response to emotional distress. My theoretical orientation is rooted in Systems Theory and I utilize interventions from Family Systems Therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, ARC, as well as Somatic and Mindfulness based psychotherapies. I have over 18 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families. My experience has shown that change is typically hard work and often requires compassionate and collaborative support in order to build new skills. I see clients in both Oregon and Massachusetts and I offer a 30 minute free video or phone consultation to see if I am the right fit for you.
