Our counseling services are individualized to meet the needs of each person. We offer individual therapy for adults, teens and children, as well as family therapy and parent coaching/support. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I have over 10 years of experience from working as an Associate Professional in Community Support, a Qualified Professional, Intensive In-Home Counselor, a Team Lead, Intensive In-Home Counselor, and an Outpatient Counselor. I earned my BA from the North Carolina State University and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are dealing with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, grief/loss and substance abuse. I tend to integrate multiple theoretical perspectives in the therapeutic process to best suit the individual. Counseling approaches that may be used include cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems, person-centered, strengths based and motivational interviewing. I am also a rostered clinician in Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in EMDR. My goal is to empower clients to make positive changes towards their identified goals.
Dr. Stacey Hellow is a highly skilled and compassionate psychotherapist with specialization in Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety. She has over 25 years of experience and is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to patients of all ages. She spent a majority of her career working for a law-enforcement agency, treating first responders, and continues to do so. She also coordinated a program to assist first responders in responding to critical incidents in their community. Dr. Hellow utilizes a patient-centered approach, and believes in building strong relationships with her patients based on trust and open communication. She takes the time to listen to her patients' concerns, thoroughly explains diagnoses and treatment options, and works collaboratively to develop personalized care plans that align with her patients' goals and values. Outside of her private practice, Dr. Hellow enjoys swimming, the outdoors, and spending time with her family. She believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and encourages her patients to embrace wellness in all aspects of their lives. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hellow actively participates in mental health research and stays updated with the latest advancements in her field. She has been recognized for her commitment to excellence in patient care.

Hardworking, ambitious, fucking exhausted. I work with women (18–30) who look like they have it together but are absolutely depleting themselves to stay that way. They’re responsible, creative, used to handling a lot…but they’re tired of overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling like no matter how hard they work, it’s never enough. I work with college students and other young adults who feel anxious, depressed, and overwhelmed. My clients may have a hard time doing daily tasks and adjusting to stress and changes. They may also have another concern like trauma, OCD, or ADHD.

A lot of the students we work with come in because they're stressed, stretched thin, or trying to make sense of something they've been carrying for a while.
