Hi there, my name is Caroline Bobbie and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I would first like to congratulate you on taking the steps to seek out support. Sometimes we show grace to others but not to ourselves. The therapeutic relationship supports a better understanding of our behaviors, thoughts and feelings. My approach is focused on providing you with a safe and trusting environment to cultivate the changes you want from within. My practice utilizes specialized therapeutic techniques including mindfulness based therapies, psychoanalytical, solution focused, cognitive behavioral and grief counseling techniques. Services include short and long term treatment options for adolescents and adults. Sessions are in the one on one format.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of clinical experience and a Masters in Social Work from NYU. Having worked in both Foster Care and Health Care systems, I bring a depth of knowledge in treating individuals across a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, and life transitions. I am certified and specialize in Brainspotting, a relational brain-body based therapy that taps into the brain's natural ability to release emotional distress.
*Serving clients in California, Pennsylvania & North Carolina via teletherapy* I imagine you're looking for help, maybe a kind and guiding mental health professional wherever you are on your healing journey. Perhaps you've felt confused, misunderstood, unseen, overwhelmed with the constant pressures and stresses of this current moment. You may be struggling with shame, self-hatred, a lack of belonging, imposter syndrome. You might feel nervous about asking for help. I welcome the chance to work together in personalized, culturally sensitive, and confidential virtual therapy. As a multicultural and multiethnic cisfemale therapist of color, I seek to understand who you are, your worldview, and your environment. Once you reach out to me, I'll invite you to set up a consultation to discuss your needs, what's going on and how we may work together. We'll get to know each other a little. I'll also invite your questions and perspectives on what you're looking for in a therapist. Together we can help you heal, create a space to honor and respect who you are, and support a life of meaningful connection and empowerment. Hi, my name is Richard Howard and I am one of the licensed counselors here at Wright's Care Counseling Services. As the one setting up this account, I feel that it's necessary to include the practice as a whole rather than simply myself in case you as a patient have specific preferences as to who you would like to work with. Feel free to check it out and learn more about our practice. We provide in-office and telehealth (phone or zoom) counseling sessions and have offices in Greensboro, Asheboro, and Winston-Salem. We take private insurances as well as Medicaid.
If you're looking for a warm, inviting and sometime humorous therapist, you've found the right spot. I specialize in working with women who have experienced trauma whether it be from a difficult childhood, relationship, or violence. I enjoy helping young women find their voice in relationships and build their identities in ways that support who they want to be. I am trained in EMDR to assist in processing and desensitizing any past traumas that are holding you back. Reach out via text/phone/email to set up a consult to see if we're a good fit!
College is hard! I remember how hard it was in so many ways. I'm honored to be a support to you through this important time in your life. I specialize in anxiety. I also work on post-trauma growth for those with a history of trauma. My approach is both "bottom up" (focusing on how your body/biology is responding to stress) and "top down" (working with your thoughts and mind to better manage the way you are feeling/thinking). I am heavily influenced by my studies in mindfulness meditation and bring that approach into our work. I have a strong interest in neuroscience as well as spirituality. I like to say that my goal as a helper is not to “make you better” but to help you discover that which makes you feel more alive. Your true nature is one of wholeness, contentment, and compassion; let's get you back there.
My experience is primarily with Gen-Z and Millennials wanting to address anxiety, depression, relational concerns (communication, boundary setting, self-awareness, etc), religious trauma, and life transitions. Some niche areas include: Christians who don't want Christian therapy, exhausted performers / resentful people-pleasers, anxious change-resisters who struggle when newness comes, and those who want to grow in boundary setting and their sense of self. I'm a huge advocate for narrative therapy. Story-telling is healing and gives context for how we became who we are today. As we understand our stories and the labels we've acquired throughout our lives, we gain self-compassion and the ability to more effectively navigate our present-day lives. Please reach out to set up a consult call to see if the therapy vibes are there. If you'd rather text, my text-only number is: (704) 762-1162.
In the session, Courtney's goal is to provide a warm and nurturing environment where clients can begin to approach issues or situations with curiosity, work to find insight, and create sustainable solutions to life struggles. Courtney believes strongly in providing copious amounts of empathy and gentle pushing towards cultivating more compassion for yourself. At her core, she is a person-centered therapist and her space reflects that. She will be authentic and genuine in session and hopes her clients feel safe doing the same. She always considers the biopsychosocial model when treating mental health concerns and utilizes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance, and commitment therapy, and shares an understanding of polyvagal theory with clients. Courtney received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where she also pursued a certificate in play therapy. Over the past decade, she has spent time working in public and private schools and within families to support the healthy growth and development of children and family systems. Because of this, Courtney specializes in working with children and parents. She enjoys empowering parents through positive parenting skills and utilizes play therapy to address childhood mental health struggles. She is also certified to hold Child-Parent Relationship Therapy classes, which brings the skills of play therapy into the hands of the parent and into their home. Additionally, Courtney is extremely passionate about being a neurodivergent affirming therapist for all ages and enjoys examining systems or "rules" that exist but don't serve the individual. She also enjoys working with adults on getting in touch with their playful side - whether that be playing with sand or fidgets while in session, or working to create space in their lives for hobbies outside of session. In her counseling sessions, Courtney enthusiastically listens to her clients and believes an equal and collaborative relationship to be crucial in eliciting change. She believes that every individual holds the power within themselves to work through life’s turbulence and upset. Her role is to help her clients uncover this power while also working to acquire the skills and strategies that will aid them in achieving their goals. The sacred nature of therapy is not lost on Courtney, and she holds the relationship highly. She is honored to be part of someone's life journey. One of Courtney’s favorite quotes comes from Mr. Fred Rogers, “There is no normal life that is free of pain. The very wrestling with our problems can be the impetus for our growth.”

Hi, I’m Rithy (pronounced as ‘Rit-Tea’). As an openly proud gay man and a first- generation Asian American (Cambodian & Hmong), I deeply recognize how mental health is woven into our identity, culture, and sense of belonging. My own journey has shown me how identity can sometimes act as a barrier to accessing therapy, whether due to stigma, cultural expectations, or a lack of representation in the field. My passion for mental wellness is rooted in the belief that people are the experts in themselves, and therapy should honor their wisdom, strengths, and lived experiences. With over six years of experience in health and human services, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent individuals, and people from diverse socioeconomic, educational, and intersectional identities. I help clients navigate stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Above all, I’m committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and affirming space where people can show up fully as themselves. My intention is to meet you where you are in your mental wellness journey and build on your strengths. Together, we will create meaningful change at a pace and capacity that feels right for you. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. With that in mind, I take a holistic, person-centered approach, promoting an affirming and supportive atmosphere-especially for those exploring LGBTOIA+ identity, relationships, anxiety, and life transitions. I tailor therapy sessions to your unique needs, using modalities like Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness, and Psychoeducation. I also use the Gottman Method to help couples strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate conflict with compassion. My approach is affirming and tailored to honor the unique dynamics and identities within each relationship
Welcome, I am so glad you are here. Experiencing a loss or trauma can feel alienating and leave you lacking connection. Maybe you have experienced a loss/trauma while also navigating pregnancy, postpartum or infertility. Maybe you are/were military but don't feel supported by the systems in place to "help". You might want to feel different but struggle to navigate the how. Or the opposite you understand the how, you have done lots of therapy and continue to feel like you are not making the progress you wish. Whether you've never been to therapy before or you have tried it before but feel stuck; you are in the right place. Therapy is not "one size fits all". This idea is incredibly important to me in helping you create change in your life because not a single client’s stories are ever the same even if they are similar, your unique experience needs a unique treatment approach. One of the approaches I use which is different from most is Brainspotting. Whether it's traditional therapy, brainspotting or clinical supervision you are in need of; I would love to connect with you to discuss your needs and if I am the right fit for you!
