Feeling anxious? You are not alone. It can be easy to end up feeling overwhelmed, uncertain and depressed - The pressures of relationships, school or work, family, friends all seem to pile up - and then taking care of yourself ends up on the bottom of the priority list. At Movemental Wellbeing, my approach is to help create a calm space where the anxiety and overwhelm don't have such a profound hold on you. One of the best strategies I know to do this is to find opportunities to go outside with clients, to go for a walk, and to feel connected and understood. Many of my colleagues and clients describe me as having a calm and compassionate presence, and that is the foundation of my work with you. Beyond that, I also believe that therapy doesn't have to be hard all the time. I like to find moments of humor, fun, joy and play and to make sessions experiential and movement-based to support all aspects of you. If the typical version of therapy (sitting and talking) doesn't feel like the best way for you to do this work, let's try something different. I'm committed to making therapy engaging, insightful and thought-provoking (and even fun). If this sounds like a refreshing approach that you might be interested in trying, please schedule a free consult call!

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Northampton, MA

I have over 21 years experience working with adults with trauma, co-dependency, CPTSD, depression, anxiety, low self esteem and other issues. I combine active listening, creativity, humor, patience and empathy. I am eclectic in my approaches and do not believe therapy is a one size fits all and try to adapt my approaches to the needs of my clients. I believe if I can help you get through the pain and confusion of your feelings, provide tools to teach you how to ground yourself, relax, soothe and regulate your emotions: you may feel much better and more hopeful. I will not just sit and nod my head. We will be a team working together on helping you live your best life

East Longmeadow, MA

Hello, and welcome! I’m Kimberly Masterson, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) dedicated to supporting college students through life’s challenges. College can be an exciting yet stressful time, and it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed by the demands of school, social life, and future plans. If you’ve been struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or ADHD, you’re not alone, and it’s okay to seek help. In our work together, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind. Whether you're feeling anxious about exams, coping with the weight of past experiences, or managing difficulties with focus and organization, I’ll help you develop practical tools to feel more in control and connected to your goals. You don’t have to face these challenges by yourself. My approach is understanding and tailored to meet you where you are, so we can work at your pace to help you feel better and move forward in your life. If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling like yourself again, I’d be honored to support you in your journey.

Female-first psychiatric care. If you’re navigating a new season of life—trying to conceive, pregnancy, or perimenopause—or looking for support with treatment of a specific condition such as PMS or PMDD, PCOS, ADHD, depression, or anxiety, I want to offer you the expertise, compassion, and genuine care you deserve. I am a Harvard-trained and board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I take a conservative approach to medication, taking the time to listen to you and help you make empowered decisions about your mental health. I provide medication management and psychotherapy through a female-first frame: putting you, your needs, and your wellness at the forefront of our work together. I view my work as an opportunity to help women feel seen and supported through the most transformative stages of their lives. My patients’ unique needs are at the forefront of my practice: hearing them when others have not listened, acknowledging their challenges when others have downplayed them, and empowering them to take control of their health, wellness, future, and family. Do you worry about the future? Would you describe yourself as having difficulty with perfectionism, relationships with family & friends, social anxiety or identity? We are a small practice with two therapists--Spencer & Carlie who love providing therapy to young adults as they navigate this exciting and nerve wracking time moving from childhood and dependence to adulthood and independence. We often work with young adults who may have had therapy in high school but did not previously find therapy helpful (often due to a lack of agency in picking their therapist, misunderstanding or invalidation of their experiences, disruptions in confidentiality or lack of concrete coping skills/goals worked on). We provide a reparative experience where clients feel genuinely supported and able to advocate and ask for what they need. We use a variety of different therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal-Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Based Therapy, EMDR, Goal-oriented Therapy and Mindfulness. Our clients often move towards a feeling of confidence, improved relationships and belief in their abilities to handle any challenges that may come their way.

I am a warm, straightforward therapist focused on providing effective treatment. I work to connect genuinely with each of my patients because I believe the first component of effective treatment is the formation of a trusting, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. With this relationship as the foundation, we can then collaboratively determine your goals and take measurable steps to achieving the change you want in your life. I specialize in the treatment of adolescents and young adults struggling with depression, sexual and gender identity, suicidality, emotion regulation, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship problems, family issues, academic and occupational stress, and life transitions. I specialize in Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. These approaches seek to provide practical skills to manage the emotions and thoughts that are interfering with our lives. I have also trained in trauma based and exposure protocols. In addition, I have specific training in supporting those who identify as gender non-conforming and offer both assessment and supportive counseling to individuals and families. I appreciate the courage it takes to talk with a therapist. Therapy is a very active process, with both the client and the therapist putting in considerable effort, and I will work with you to create the treatment environment that best meets your individual needs.

College can come with a lot of pressure - school, relationships, family expectations, and trying to figure out who you are becoming. Many of the college students and young adults I work with feel anxious, burnt out, stuck in overthinking, disconnected from themselves, or are navigating the impact of past trauma while doing their best to manage daily responsibilities. Hi, my name is Jasmin Mantilla Carrillo and I am a Master of Social Work clinical intern at Intrinsic Bloom Therapy. I enjoy working with college students and young adults experiencing anxiety, stress, and trauma. In our work together, we can explore what is coming up for you right now while building practical tools to help you manage stress, regulate emotions, and feel more grounded in your day to day life. I receive advanced training in psychotherapy and work under the close supervision of Chelsea Hepburn, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor at Intrinsic Bloom Therapy - meaning you are supported by both me and an experienced clinician throughout the therapy process. Intrinsic Bloom Therapy offers telehealth therapy for college students and young adults in Connecticut (CT) and Massachusetts (MA) and offers a sliding scale.

For over 25 years I have worked as a social worker, life coach and therapist with children, adolescents and adults. Since I was a child I knew that I wanted to be a counselor helping others in their time of need. At some point in life's journey you may experience a time where you feel you may benefit from some extra support and guidance, let me help you on the road to hope and healing. I believe in a mutual therapeutic relationship working together as a team towards the client's goals. Starting therapy and sharing issues that have become challenging is a hard and yet courageous step in your healing process. As a therapist I am honored to be able to share in this journey and hold the emotions that come with this. I consider myself to be an eclectic therapist, taking into consideration the individuals uniqueness and needs before implementing techniques and strategies. I use an honest and direct approach in a non-judgemental and compassionate way. With the help of different modalities CBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and EMDR I can help you find a path toward inner peace and joy.
