I do evaluations for ADHD and autism in adults. The students I work with usually made it a long way on effort alone. They got good grades, got into a good school, and figured out their own systems for keeping up. Then something changed. The workload got heavier, the structure got looser, or they hit a semester where the old tricks stopped working, and suddenly they were reading the same paragraph four times, starting papers the night before, or so exhausted after a full day of class and people that they had nothing left. A lot of them have been told they are smart but not applying themselves. A lot of them have been treated for anxiety or depression, and it helped some, but not with the part that actually gets in the way. Many are Black students, women, or students who learned early to keep it together in public no matter what it cost. Nobody ever suggested testing, because from the outside they looked fine. Some come to me because a friend got diagnosed and it sounded familiar. Some come because they need documentation for accommodations and have no idea where to start. Some come because they are tired of not knowing. If any of that sounds like you, I do evaluations for ADHD and autism in adults. You do not need to have it figured out before you reach out. That is what the evaluation is for.

I hold a doctorate in Philosophy and a Masters in Counseling Psychology. I have worked with college students since getting started in private practice in 2010, first at the counseling center at the Savannah College of Art and Design and now in the Athens area with students at UGA. I specialize in symptoms around depression, anxiety and substance use and hold a certification as a drug and alcohol counselor. We were established in 2012 by Stacy Sampson and currently have 14 providers on staff. As of January 2025 our Self-Pay (non-insurance) fees are: - $100 per 60-minute individual sessions - $120 per 50-60-minute family or couples counseling sessions Not all of our counselors are able to work with insurances due to the level of their current licensure, however, we're able offer sliding scale fees on a case-by-case basis. He has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Northridge, a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University, and a Post-Master's Certificate, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Purdue University Global. Ronald always wanted to challenge himself and expand his knowledge of practice. His learning did not stop at school. Ronald is always looking at the newest research to better help his clients. Joe specializes in LGBTQIA+, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance abuse treatment. Joe utilizes a person-centered approach with influences from Internal Family Systems and Mind/Body Work.

Kevin Larkins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Anger Resolution Blueprint Specialist. He has been practicing for 7 years and has extensive experience in the areas of addiction, trauma, depression, stress management, anger management, anger resolution, anxiety disorders and oppositional defiant disorders. He received his Master of Science in clinical psychology from Clayton State University in Morrow, GA where he also received his Bachelor of Health and Human Services. His previous roles include proving group therapy services, individual therapy services, couples therapy services, and family therapy services as a therapist and as a lead clinician in a community-based setting providing W. R. A. P. and IFFI therapeutic services. His experience in group practice, non-intensive outpatient substance abuse programs and mental health programs within a non-profit setting has afforded him the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of people from various backgrounds. Dr. Zicole Browne is a Psychiatrist in Georgia who has been practicing since 2018. As an adult psychiatrist, Dr. Browne is trained to treat an array of psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and psychotic disorders. Jim is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science Education, a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Specialist Degree in Professional School Counseling, all from the University of Georgia. He has also completed the necessary coursework to become a BCBA (board certified behavior analyst), and is completing his supervision hours as part of the certification process. Jim has experience in the K-12 field of public education, post-secondary education, as well as the field of mental health. His work consists of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, primarily in school settings. Jim believes therapy is often sought when a person begins having irrational thoughts and starts a downward spiral of negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. His desire is to help build a trusting, professional environment in which the person begins to gain another perspective, and to realize they are beginning a pattern of self-destructive thinking. Cheryl Schwartzkopf values the trust that her clients place in her. She counts it a privilege to build a relationship with her clients and work together to create a better future for them. Ever learning and sharpening her counseling skills, she utilizes techniques found in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Reality Therapy. After years of working in the public schools, Cheryl is transitioning to serve as a Life Stance Therapist for children, adolescents, teens, and adults in the Warner Robins office. She enjoys exploring trails with her family, learning new cultures, or relaxing in her backyard hammock.

Beatrice Okoye, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a Doctor of Family Nurse Practitioner working in the Stockbridge office of LifeStance Health. Beatrice displays kindness and compassion to all of her patients and is a patient advocate that strives to understand all their needs and concerns. Mrs. Stefanie Livingston is a compassionate adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. As a part of her formal education, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Here, she received her master's degree specializing in psychiatric/mental health nursing. Based in Augusta, GA, Mrs. Livingston is an integral member of LifeStance Health - Georgia. She provides each client with the professional concern and attention needed to attain an improved quality of life. Mrs. Livingston treats anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, bipolar disorders, anger management concerns and PTSD, etc. Apart from these, she also provides supportive therapy, psychiatry consultations, and follow-ups. Tammy Denny-Smith is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Master's Degree in Nursing and started her career as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004. After working in Family Medicine for 13 years, she went to work in an outpatient mental health clinic treating adults struggling with mental health issues, addiction, incarcerated individuals and military veterans. She graduated from Washburn University's Post Master's Program in 2019 and became Board-Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Tammy believes in a collaborative approach to care when working with individual's and their families. She feels treatment is more successful when the person is an active participant in their treatment plan. Her main focus is to provide the tools to help an individual achieve their mental health goals. Tammy is passionate about attending the annual charity event Life is A Ride that benefits handicapped, troubled teens and military veterans using horses as therapy. She loves spending time with family and friends riding horses, camping, hiking and enjoying nature.
