Empathic Counseling Services, LLC
You're feeling overwhelmed, and the constant worry and overthinking start to pile up. School already has enough challenges, and now life stuff and Covid is thrown in the mix. Anxiety sucks! It is paralyzing, and you feel stuck under all the pressure to make the right decisions, get all that work done, and keep it together. You may ask yourself, Why am I like this? Why can't I start that paper/project? I can't ever relax!" Maybe you find yourself a sensitive person, or you can't say no. Feelings of shame creep in, and it is a neverending cycle of feeling shut down while trying to navigate life transitions. Our clients are like you. Imagine being able to start that paper or make decisions without spiraling. Or going into a social situation with confidence. Better yet, not feeling alone in a room full of people. We understand how anxiety works and learned the skills to manage it not only for ourselves but to help others like you break the cycle of suffering. We focus on providing a safe space to be yourself as you process and learn skills to take control of your life.

At times, people just want to have a conversation and we put off going to counseling, because honestly we tell ourselves that this other thing is just a little bit more important, a bit more pressing. We forget to invest in ourselves. Life is tough, there is no doubt about that; but why go through it alone. Let me be that person for you to aid you through those tough times or I can simply be that someone that you talk with. For a free consultation, learn more about my practice, or set up a counseling appointment, please go to www.thelotuscounselor.com or call (610) 699-9475. I believe therapy is meant to be a collaborative process between client and therapist. As such, clients create goals for themselves while therapist are present to assist them in reaching their goals. I strive to create an environment which is affirming and comfortable yet also expect I will challenge clients in their assumptions regarding thoughts, behaviors, and interpersonal interactions. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities in my practice, tailoring therapy to the individual client(s) I am serving. I regularly use humor and self disclosure, as a way to increase therapeutic relationship, when appropriate. I have worked in social services and mental health for over 15 years. I began my career as a Resident Advisor and by volunteering on hotlines while in college. I then transitioned to working as a milieu therapist with children. Following completion of my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, I worked with families struggling with transitions, relationship conflict, and child behavioral/mental health concerns as a mobile family therapist. While working as a mobile therapist, I received additionally training in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy through the Philadelphia Child and Family Training Therapy program. I am one of a few male Certified Sex Therapist, certified through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, with offices in Philadelphia and Media. I work with couples and individuals. I specialize in working with LGBTQ inidividuals. My areas of speciality include, people seeking to understand their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. I work with gay and lesbian couples who are navigating both traditional couple dynamics as well as issues specific to being a part of a same-sex couple. I have worked with clients in traditional and non-traditional relationship dynamics, including open and polyamorous relationships. Additionally, I often work with people attempting to work through sexual dysfunctions or concerns. I enjoy working with male identified clients as I often find they are not generally given the latitude to be emotionally expressive and doing so with another male can be very affirming. My rate is $175 for individual sessions and $200.00 for couples. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration.
The Intentional Conversation: Dr. Felishatee Rodriguez
You're exhausted. Not just tired, exhausted. The kind that sleep doesn't touch. You've been holding it together, pushing through, showing up for everyone else. And somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself. Maybe you've tried therapy before. Read the books, downloaded the apps, done the work. And yet here you are, same patterns, same weight, same wall. That doesn't mean you're broken. It means you haven't found the right fit yet. This is a space where you don't have to perform progress or have the perfect words ready. Just come as you are. About my approach: I use EMDR, Narrative, Emotion-Focused, and attachment-based approaches all grounded in cultural humility. But honestly? My clients usually come in expecting someone serious and clinical. Then they realize I laugh easily, I swear sometimes, and yes, I will absolutely do a mini chair-dance when you hit a milestone. No poker face here. About me: I'm a first-generation Latinx, LGBTQIA+ woman who grew up in a multigenerational household where family, community, and education weren't just values, they were survival. That lived experience shows up in how I work: with warmth, cultural humility, and full presence.

I do two things really well - listen and empathize. You and your story are unique. My job is to help you set goals and develop a plan to set the path for our work together. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space for open sharing and reflection. My role is not to judge or tell you what you should do. My role is to empower and support you to be your best self even if that sometimes means challenging you to promote change. I work with young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or general life stress. The world itself impacts how we move through it particularly for members of neurodivergent and BIPOC communities. I offer a 15 minute phone consult to see if we vibe.

My ideal client is open, curious, and willing to try. Their goals may include improving self-esteem and body image, developing effective communication skills and relationships, expanding movement vocabulary, gaining insight into patterns of behavior, creating new coping options, building self-awareness, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening the connection between the brain and the body While verbal processing is a part of most therapeutic processes, Dance/Movement Therapy includes the possibility of non-verbal communication. Founded on the idea that motion and emotion are interconnected, Dance/Movement Therapy uses creativity to strengthen communication skills. Whether you are looking for traditional talk therapy, or you want to try a new technique to feel more in your body, please reach out to discuss. The possibilities are endless, don't let the word "dance" deter you. This is not about technique or perfection. This is about you and your own sense of movement.

Espenshade Counseling
Hi there — I'm Jason, Director of Clinical Services at Espenshade Counseling, a concierge outpatient practice in Bryn Mawr, PA, on Philadelphia's Main Line. We offer personalized individual and group therapy, and I've been building out programming specifically for students navigating major life transitions — including a group centered on the jump from high school to college. Our approach is collaborative and practical: we meet people where they are and give them tools they can actually use, not just a place to talk. The students I connect with best are usually navigating a big shift — a new campus, a new level of independence, a new set of expectations — and feeling the weight of it more than they expected to. A lot of them are used to holding things together and doing well, so when anxiety, homesickness, or that nagging feeling of not measuring up shows up, it can catch them off guard. They tend to be thoughtful, high-achieving, and harder on themselves than they need to be — and they're looking for someone who can help them make sense of what they're feeling without judgment. If you're feeling stretched thin trying to adjust to a new routine, second-guessing decisions, comparing yourself to everyone who looks like they've got it figured out, or noticing that the pressure you put on yourself is starting to wear you down — you're not alone, and this is exactly what I work with. Therapy with me isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you; it's about giving you practical ways to handle stress, set boundaries, and feel more like yourself again while you figure out this next chapter. I'd be glad to help you find your footing — reach out whenever you're ready.
Lunar Counseling
Hi, I’m Kiara, I’m the therapist behind Lunar Counseling! I work with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and trauma. Too many people are stuck in a cycle of distress without truly resolving anything. This leaves many feeling detached, numb, and uncertain about their future. I believe most mental health challenges can be addressed through effective therapy and by developing healthy coping skills. BUT, that can be so hard to do on your own. I have found for many individuals, having a therapist to talk through issues can be a gamechanger for their mental health. So, I use my seven years of therapy experience to guide people just like you as you work through your mental health challenges and regain control of your life. To get started, your next step is to schedule a 15-min phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. You don’t have to let things get worse or stay feeling numb and overwhelmed. I can help guide you as you overcome your challenges and get back to feeling like yourself again.

Something feels off, and you can't quite name it. You're doing everything you were supposed to do, but the life you're living doesn't feel fully like yours. You look around and it seems like everyone else found their footing, their person, their purpose. And quietly, you've started to wonder: Why not me? What am I missing? The gap between where you are and where you thought you'd be by now can feel like failure, even when, logically, you know it isn't. You're measuring yourself against a timeline you didn't write, comparing your insides to everyone else's outsides, and coming up short every time. The loneliness isn't just about being single or not having the career you wanted. It's the disconnection from yourself, from knowing who you are and what you actually want, separate from what you were always told to want. You don't need to have it all figured out. But you do deserve to feel at home in your own life, curious about where you're going rather than ashamed of where you are. You deserve to trust yourself again. I work with women who are navigating that in-between, exploring who they are, longing for real connection, and untangling the anxiety that comes with feeling behind. Together, we'll loosen the grip of comparison, get clear on what you actually value, and help you build a life that feels genuinely yours, not a performance of what it was supposed to look like. I offer online therapy in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. If this sounds like you, please reach out to schedule a free 15 minute consultation!

Seeking to discover strengths to meet new challenges or define your sense of purpose? Are you having relationship issues at home, school, or work? Or maybe you are asking questions about your life story, its meaning, and your place in the world. Psychotherapy can be helpful in exploring and resolving these concerns. Every person has a story to tell. I offer insight-oriented psychotherapy, an approach that focuses on your perspective and unique story. A person’s feelings, thoughts, and choices may be influenced by factors from the past that are outside of one’s awareness and exert pressure on current experiences and events. Each person’s culture, including military culture, can also be influential in therapy. Telling your story freely in a safe environment and bringing past experiences and meanings to light can have therapeutic or even transformative effects in the present. Devote the time now to strengthen your foundation and build a new vision for your future. My practice focuses on resilience, operational stress, high-intensity workplaces, and many other issues. Individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds, you may find therapy helpful for self-knowledge and awareness as you navigate a complex time in your life. The practice is Telehealth with access throughout FL, PA, and WV. Tricare has certified that I am an out-of-network provider for FL, PA, or WV telehealth services.
