Good day and hello! I generally work with people who have experienced childhood, intergenerational, and historical trauma, neurodivergent folks, LGBTQIA2S+, people experiencing grief or big life changes, and might experience really big feelings. I strive to be a provider rooted in anti-oppression ways of being and openly discuss the therapeutic power dynamic. I offer therapy rooted in humanness, joy, and authenticity.

Whether you're navigating a major life transition, managing overwhelming emotions, or seeking balance as a parent, I provide a supportive, solution-oriented environment where you can develop the tools needed to thrive. Additionally, I focus on enhancing interpersonal effectiveness skills, helping clients improve their communication, set healthy boundaries, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. Through a collaborative and goal-focused approach, I will help you break free from unhelpful thought patterns, build effective coping mechanisms, improve your relationships, and achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life. My experience includes working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bi-polar disorder, grief and loss, life adjustments, trauma and parenting skills and support. I especially enjoy working with survivors of domestic violence. Many people think of domestic violence being mostly physical abuse, but DV also includes mental, emotional, psychological, sexual, financial, technology, religious, technology and physical abuse as well as power and control. I hold a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 certificate. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 sons and family, cooking, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, spending time at the beach and visiting new places. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles they are experiencing by using a variety of treatment techniques depending on the needs of each individual. I enjoy helping clients explore ways to make changes in their lives and learn new skills so they can have a hopeful and fulfilling future. If you are ready to make a positive change in your life, I encourage you to take that first step. As a team of licensed professional counselors and social workers, we provide individual, couples, child, teen, family and group therapy for a range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. We work with our clients to develop coping strategies and build resilience in the face of life's challenges.
Developmental trauma (experiences as we grow, including our family of origin) shapes how we see the world, sometimes unsafe and challenging to navigate. Our attachments are the foundations in which we trust or find conflict. Developmental trauma may manifest in the body as anxiety, stress, distress, relationship difficulties, depression and more. There is healing to be found here, to be understood and nourished. Well done on the first step in a journey toward wellness. The most important aspect of therapy is finding a person who makes you feel safe and heard. I look forward to collaborating. I have training and experience in working with trauma, family of origin/generational cycles, attachment disruptions, complicated grief and loss, sexuality, sex work and with LGBTQAI+ persons. I love working through emotions, trauma and somatic experiencing. I am Level I Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy trained. I enjoy working with and understanding folx from their perspective; I work with singles, couples, non-monogamous consensual relationships and families. I provide a safe, unassuming space in which you can find felt safety. I appreciate the eclectic person you are and would like to help you identify your own cracks, so that you can let your own light in. While medication can be a helpful tool, you may have heard mixed stories and are wondering if it's the right choice for you. Perhaps you were diagnosed with ADHD as a child and managed fine through high school, but now you're struggling to keep up. You might even be seeking a second opinion on a past diagnosis or looking for a more holistic approach with a provider who truly listens. Whatever you're facing, I’m here to help. Why choose a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)? As board-certified and licensed professionals, PMHNPs are trained to diagnose mental health conditions, provide therapy, and prescribe medication.
