Present. Calm. Centered. Your authentic YOU. These are the things you may be longing for yet sometimes feel out of reach. Life can bring about storms and seasons of hardship that leave their mark on our human spirits. Sometimes we can find our center, yet other times we may feel lost in the seas of emotions - worries and anxieties that sweep us from our connections to ourselves and those we care about. Maybe you experienced painful moments in your youth or adult life that you just can’t find a way to shake. Or maybe you find yourself caught in certain patterns of responses despite knowing you value interacting with yourself or others differently. Maybe you hope to gain more confidence in yourself to follow your dreams. I am deeply honored to explore these thoughts, feelings, and experiences with you, so that you can draw new connections to live the life you want to lead. I work with adult individuals (18 years and up) and have experience with a variety of different presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and addictions. I offer a nurturing person-centered approach where I believe you are truly the expert in your own life. My aim is to use my professional training to collaborate with you on reaching your goals. I use a variety of counseling approaches including motivational interviewing, mindfulness, CBT and brainspotting. With this, I often interweave somatic/body based awareness, emotional attunement and cognitive aspects into the work we engage in together. I also recognize the decision to choose to start counseling can be a vulnerable and difficult one. I believe a strong therapeutic alliance is the most important aspect for supporting therapy outcomes (research supports this too!). I aim to create an environment with elements of empathy, non-judgment, compassion and humor. And if you wind up finding my therapeutic style is not the best fit for your needs, I am glad to support you in getting connected with another therapist.
I work with adolescents and adults that feel overwhelmed, nervous, stuck, worried, or stressed with situations, big and small. We will work through those situations and feeling to identify themes to help you feel more comfortable addressing future situations. Therapy is about progress and growth where you will feel heard and understood. I believe the relationship between the client and therapist is crucial to the therapeutic process. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist with a commitment to social justice and diversity. I value and seek to uplift all intersecting identities you may hold. No ofrezco terapia en español, pero puedo comunicarme con los miembros de la familia del cliente.
Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am married with a 6 year old boy and a 2 year old lab/pit bull mix. I have been in this field for over 15 years and enjoy helping others to reach their maximum potential.
We believe that all people deserve to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. We also think the world would be a better place if everyone else believed this too (but that’s just us- we aren’t trying to impose our values on you). To that end, we ask that clinicians, admin staff, and fellow clients be treated with the same kindness, dignity, and respect you would offer to the person or animal (because let’s be honest, sometimes animals are easier to treat well) you love the most. And, we expect ourselves to provide that to you. If ever something rubs you the wrong way or doesn’t feel like it matches this value, please let us know, and we will work to hear you, develop an understanding of where you are coming from, and try to resolve the situation until you feel your needs have been met. If that’s not possible, we will talk to you about options for the next steps.
Life can feel overwhelming. You might be carrying past trauma, facing anxiety that won’t ease, or navigating a lingering sadness. Maybe you’re exploring how your identity has been shaped by culture, history, or generational pain—and you’re ready to reclaim your voice. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know: reaching out is a powerful first step. As a therapist with over a decade of experience, I create a trauma-informed space where you feel seen and supported. Together, we’ll face the hard stuff while making room for healing, hope, and growth. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in decolonizing therapy—honoring how colonization, systemic oppression, and cultural narratives impact mental health. We’ll gently examine and unlearn internalized beliefs, reconnect with your resilience, and center your wisdom. This work isn’t just about surviving—it’s about liberation. I believe in the power of healing, especially in the face of profound pain. Therapy for me is about coming home to yourself—finding strength, wholeness, and meaning. If you're seeking someone who deeply listens, understands your complexity, and honors your story, I’d be honored to share this space.

Many teens and adults struggle with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and compulsive behaviors that feel difficult to control. You may find yourself stuck in cycles of worry, overthinking, reassurance-seeking, or mental rituals, leaving you exhausted and frustrated. Anxiety or OCD may be interfering with your relationships, school, work, or ability to enjoy daily life. What you want is relief—not just from anxiety itself, but from the constant mental struggle it creates. You want to feel more confident in your ability to cope, less controlled by fear, and more present in your life. I specialize in treating anxiety and OCD using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I work with teens and adults at their own pace, offering semi-structured, supportive therapy focused on facing anxiety, reducing compulsions, and building confidence in coping skills. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been struggling for a long time. You are not broken or weak—anxiety and OCD are difficult, but highly treatable. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning, support is available when you’re ready to take the next step.

Mission: Our mission is to provide compassionate, client-centered counseling that integrates evidence-based practices with individualized care. We are dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families in overcoming challenges, building resilience, and fostering emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment that promotes acceptance, belonging, and connection. I believe in the basic goodness and natural wisdom of all human beings. Layers of confusion and unconscious wounds can disconnect us from our true selves. We may end up feeling bad and acting in ways that hurt our relationships— with ourselves, with others, and with this magnificent planet. We become hard and out of touch with our lives and callings. Real, deep change is possible when we face ourselves and our challenges with honesty, willingness, and compassion. - As your counselor, I will adventure with you into the weird and wonderful world of your own inner self. I'll use techniques rooted in Experiential Dynamic Therapy to help you touch into the freedom and wisdom already inside you and to overcome the barriers that arise on the path toward that life. Expect to be cared for and to be challenged— if you’re living in a stuffy little house made of old, limiting patterns, it might be time for some demolition work. I’m not afraid to hand you the sledgehammer, and I’ll be with you as you begin to step forward into an open, affirming wilderness of possibility.
