My primary clinical experience has been working with adult women navigating depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other complex mental health concerns. Working with women has been especially meaningful to me because I've witnessed the strength and resilience they bring to the healing process, even during incredibly difficult seasons of life. I'm passionate about creating a therapeutic space where women feel safe, heard, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. While my primary experience has been with women, I welcome the opportunity to work with adults from diverse backgrounds and remain committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that honors each person's unique experiences and goals. What inspires me most about mental healthcare is witnessing the incredible capacity people have to change, grow, adapt, and persevere even when they can't yet see that potential in themselves. I have always been drawn to the resilience of the human spirit and the idea that healing is not about becoming someone different, but about reconnecting with the strengths, values, and inner resources that have been there all along. I'm passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and recognize that meaningful change is possible. While the journey is rarely linear, I believe that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth, and it's a privilege to walk alongside clients as they discover new perspectives, build resilience, and create lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling. One of the greatest privileges of this work is witnessing moments when someone begins to believe in themselves again. Seeing patients realize they are capable of navigating life's challenges with greater confidence, self-compassion, and hope is what continues to inspire me and reinforces why I chose this profession. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship where patients feel empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace. I believe healing begins when individuals feel genuinely seen and supported, and I strive to help patients recognize their inherent strengths and resilience while developing practical tools to manage symptoms and move toward their goals. I have experience utilizing evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed practices, tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs and strengths. I don't believe my role is to "fix" you. Rather, I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and build on the strengths you already possess. Even in life's most difficult seasons, I believe every person has an incredible capacity for resilience, growth, and healing. My hope is that, over time, you leave therapy not only with practical tools to navigate life's challenges, but with a deeper sense of confidence in yourself and trust in your own ability to move forward. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside people on that journey.
Each of us has the potential to connect with and live from a creative, energized and compassionate center. Once established, we can perpetually draw upon this connection to understand and accept our past, to guide our present, and to embrace our future. With warmth, commitment and respect, and with attention to body, mind, and spirit, I work to help people access the inner resources they need to live with happiness, safety and ease. As a therapist, I meet people where they are. I collaborate with them to create a treatment that is flexible and responsive to their needs and experience, and help guide them toward their stated goals.
Therapy enables us to heal ourselves and sharpen access to our wisest intuition. As your therapist, I will provide a comfortable space for self-reflection, where you will come to understand yourself at the deepest level. In our work together, you will learn to nurture yourself as you build inner strength and serenity. I’ve worked in community mental health, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, and private practice. Driven by curiosity, empathy, and integrity, my approach is built on the belief that every person is capable of growth. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling seen and understood, and to end therapy as your most authentic self. Though there is always darkness in life, I believe light can be found by those who want to see it. I am not afraid of the dark. Bring me your darkness—your pain, your confusion, your hurt—and we will walk together as you find your guiding lights.

I utilize a trauma-informed, person-in-environment approach that recognizes the importance of both individual and environmental factors that influence a person's well-being and behavior. There is no "one size fits all" approach, therefore I adopt techniques from varying practice modalities to best meet the needs of each individual client. I specialize in providing compassionate support for individuals navigating through trauma, including those impacted by violence, medical issues, and workplace burnout. I aid clients facing grief, life transitions, or heartbreak, fostering resilience and healing amidst challenges. I address various mental health issues - anxiety, depression, and PTSD - with a comprehensive and holistic approach. I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives, therefore I provide a compassionate, safe, and inviting environment for those who are on their journey for self-discovery & healing.

I specialize in trauma (EMDR), anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and self-esteem. I respond to everyone who makes an inquiry. College and grad school can be incredibly stressful in the best of circumstances, and there is always something... extra. :) I see lots of students and have helped them find peace with social or academic pressure, present or past family problems and new or re-surfacing mental health issues. I am low-key and easy to talk to, with a dry sense of humor. I will quickly understand and help with the issue you want to address, not tell you what I think you should change. I want you to be able to talk about what really matters, feel understood and seen, and become the person you want to be. Over my 25 years in the field I have worked with a wide diversity of people. Not much surprises me, and I’m very nonjudgmental. I have worked to understand racism and oppression, and poverty, and violence, and am also aware I still have a lot to learn. My clinical social work education was in traditional psychodynamic therapy with a strong social justice awareness. I have worked in multicultural and multilingual settings most of my career. I have certificates in the treatment of trauma and also in psychoanalytic studies. I am now training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and like how non-judgmental it is. My approach is eclectic, and has evolved over the years to be flexible and practical, tuning in to what will be helpful and effective for you. I like to work with young adults, parents, and students, and here are some areas in which I’ve helped people: -Childhood experiences that bother people or create difficulties -Anxiety -Young adulthood/ leaving home adjustment -Immigrant/ first generation acculturation, and adjustment to college -Substance use questions or problems, including historical family issues -Relationships and sexuality, including non-traditional situations -Grief, even about secrets -LGBTQIA+ concerns and family issues -Workplace challenges -Parenting, adjustment to becoming a parent -Depression Our first couple meetings would focus on whether what I have to offer is a good fit for you. I can work in a solution-focused way for just a few meetings, or longer-term. I wish you the best!

I have accompanied people through these and many other issues, and in therapy we'll identify what is holding you back and help you pick up new tools to tackle these challenges. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, and specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Contact me today to find out whether we're a good fit to work together!

I have spent the past five years in clinical practice supporting individuals who feel stuck or are navigating major life transitions, including college students facing academic, relational, and personal challenges. My approach is mindful and person-centered, with an emphasis on meeting you where you are. I strive to create a space where you can express yourself freely and feel understood.
Our experiences in this world, often based on identities or trauma, can leave us feeling stressed and uncertain. It's confusing to have your worries get in the way of making the connections with people that you long for; or to be so convinced you will fail that it's hard to take the first step in doing the next thing you want to do; or to be suddenly totally overwhelmed in the middle of this exciting new experience you'd been waiting for. Sometimes people need some help slowing down, reconnecting with themselves, and finding new ways to respond so that they can move forward with hope, self-compassion, and empowerment. I have spent many years working in college mental health, helping students from all identities and backgrounds navigate the growth and challenge of the college experience. My approach is collaborative. Together we figure out what's getting in the way for you. I'll be with you in the hard moments, naming and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences so that you can find ways to respond to them that are helpful. Increased connection with your body is key. Let's also celebrate the wins, big and small, along the way. Finding a therapist that is a good fit is so important—if you're not comfortable enough to tell your therapist what's really going on, therapy won't work. Let's find a time to connect to see if I would be a good fit for you in your next step.
