I have worked with clientele from all different backgrounds, cultures, and ages in spectrums such as domestic violence victims/survivors, sexual assault, homicide, substance abuse, and integrating those who have been incarcerated back into the community for over 6 years. I work with people who struggle with significant emotional and behavioral issues that cause them to feel disconnected from others. The people I work with often begin therapy feeling confused and hopeless about how they feel and behave in their closest relationships. They may understand something is wrong, that they are not living the life they want and having the type of relationships they long for, but nothing they find online or in self-help books seems to get to the core of what they're experiencing. They feel its time to start exploring themselves more personally with a professional. For over a decade I have worked with people in both short- and long-term therapy to explore and overcome complex emotional issues. To orient myself in this work, I utilize Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which focuses on making sense of deeper, more systemic struggles, issues that often stem from early relational trauma. If you are tired of trying to deny the emotional turmoil you feel in both your life and in your relationships, I encourage you to reach out to me. I have significant experience working with people who come from very difficult upbringings. I have helped them find meaning in adulthood and have gratitude for the life they now live. Healing is possible.

If you have ever been at a loss for what to do or felt stuck in a situation that seemed to have no solution then please know that there is still hope. Regardless if it is complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, there is hope. If you have a child with ADHD, ODD or another intellectual disability or have a history of that yourself, there is hope. It is my heart to meet everyone where they are at and to enable them to know that no matter what has happened in their life, no matter the trauma, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I am offering Teletherapy Services only. Hello and welcome. I view therapy as an active and collaborative process of working toward your goals together. Therapy is not a one size fits all treatment. It should built around your needs. My number one priority is to provide you with the tools to get back on a path that feels genuine and life affirming. I want to help you heal, break free from old habits, develop healthy coping skills, and find new ways to respond to life's challenging situations. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD or have experienced traumatic events, the decision to seek help is a sign of great strength. Brainspotting is a method to help heal clients who have suffered from trauma. It is a neurophysiological treatment that provides psychological, emotional and physical benefits. It appears that Brainspotting helps to harness the brains own ability to heal itself and the body from stored trauma. Biolateral sound can be used to help enhance the healing process. Brainspotting can also be used to work on sports and performance blocks, as well as concussions. My treatment approach is holistic, integrative, and personalized to your unique circumstances. I use a combination of Brainspotting, Emotional Freedom Techniques (aka tapping), talk therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques are also used to help people shift their personal narrative and develop skills to navigate life's challenges. I offer vibrational sound healing which shifts and clears energy from the body allowing your body to move back into harmony and vibrant health. This service is offered to enhance your healing journey and is not covered by insurance.

Female-first psychiatric care. If you’re navigating a new season of life—trying to conceive, pregnancy, or perimenopause—or looking for support with treatment of a specific condition such as PMS or PMDD, PCOS, ADHD, depression, or anxiety, I want to offer you the expertise, compassion, and genuine care you deserve. I am a Harvard-trained and board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I take a conservative approach to medication, taking the time to listen to you and help you make empowered decisions about your mental health. I provide medication management and psychotherapy through a female-first frame: putting you, your needs, and your wellness at the forefront of our work together. I view my work as an opportunity to help women feel seen and supported through the most transformative stages of their lives. My patients’ unique needs are at the forefront of my practice: hearing them when others have not listened, acknowledging their challenges when others have downplayed them, and empowering them to take control of their health, wellness, future, and family. Hello! I’m a trauma-informed psychodynamic therapist with clinical experience covering a wide range of issues in adolescence and adulthood. I am well-versed in working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma recovery/PTSD, grief, relationship and communication issues, intimate partner violence, out-of-control behaviors, problematic substance use, and school/work stress. I will support you in finding deeper feelings of fulfillment, ease, self-alignment, and possibility in your life. I work primarily with college students and people in the years after they leave or graduate college. Changes in social life, feeling a part of something bigger or not, family dynamics, and/or figuring out work can be tough on top of whatever you were already dealing with. The political moment brings feelings of despair, rage, and loneliness. People I work with are deeply affected. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. I work well with individuals of all backgrounds. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and with years of experience in non-monogamous relationship structures, I work with many queer and trans people and people in non-monogamous relationships. I deeply respect the unique lives of the individuals I work with, and I love to witness their progress toward their goals. My therapy approach is psychodynamic - grounded in the understanding that past experiences influence us consciously and unconsciously. I use a strengths-based, whole-person perspective, and I also offer skills and tools using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) depending on your goals for therapy. I work alongside you in a process of exploration and meaning making. You can expect me to be warm, humorous, genuine, and straight-forward. I would love to hear from you.

For over 25 years I have worked as a social worker, life coach and therapist with children, adolescents and adults. Since I was a child I knew that I wanted to be a counselor helping others in their time of need. At some point in life's journey you may experience a time where you feel you may benefit from some extra support and guidance, let me help you on the road to hope and healing. I believe in a mutual therapeutic relationship working together as a team towards the client's goals. Starting therapy and sharing issues that have become challenging is a hard and yet courageous step in your healing process. As a therapist I am honored to be able to share in this journey and hold the emotions that come with this. I consider myself to be an eclectic therapist, taking into consideration the individuals uniqueness and needs before implementing techniques and strategies. I use an honest and direct approach in a non-judgemental and compassionate way. With the help of different modalities CBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and EMDR I can help you find a path toward inner peace and joy.
