I am licensed in MA, NH, and VT. As a trauma therapist, I embrace an unconventional therapeutic style, incorporating humor and a holistic approach into my clinical practice. My practice is inclusive and welcoming to individuals from all identities and backgrounds. Many of my clients are neurodivergent or members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are experiencing issues related to complex PTSD and/or substance use and addiction. Drawing upon a deep understanding of trauma dynamics, harm reduction, and 12-step models, I stand by my clients as they venture into a path of healing and self-exploration. I offer a compassionate and comprehensive approach to healing. Viewing addiction and substance use as trauma-related disorders, I incorporate an eclectic combination of interventions to guide folks in rebuilding their sense of safety and resiliency. If appropriate, I can provide EMDR therapy. EMDR is a highly effective treatment for unresolved trauma. As a holistic clinician, my approach to healing considers the entirety of an individual. I believe our problems are not isolated events but interconnected components of our lives, impacting various facets of ourselves. Together, we can address issues at their roots, across the many layers of our being, to foster lasting and transformative change.
I am accepting new clients! I believe in the power of therapy to help people connect with inner wisdom, explore and build upon strengths, and process difficulties in a supportive and non-judgmental space. I view the therapeutic relationship as being fundamental to growth and change, as it lays the groundwork for you to work through vulnerable feelings and explore relational patterns. I try to foster this relationship by connecting on a human level and providing an atmosphere of care, acceptance, openness, curiosity, and humility. While I tend not to give advice, I may share new perspectives, offer tools for change, or help you draw connections between current patterns and past experiences. I deeply respect your decision to seek therapy and look forward to getting to know you.
Much of my work focuses on supporting clients as they navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions. While I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, I have particular experience supporting Young Adults and Asian American clients, especially those balancing multicultural identities, family expectations, and cultural values. My therapeutic approach has been informed by work in emergency units, inpatient settings, and college campuses. I focus on meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we identify goals that matter to you and explore patterns or concerns you’d like to understand more deeply or approach differently. I value open communication and believe growth often happens when we gently step into discomfort. I integrate evidence-based approaches while staying mindful of how your unique experiences have shaped your perspective and sense of self. Sessions are intentional and structured, with an emphasis on insight, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

I work best with students who feel stressed, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the next steps in their life—whether that’s managing academic pressure, navigating relationships, or figuring out what comes after graduation. I help students make sense of their experiences, manage stress, and find practical ways to feel more balanced and confident. My sessions are supportive, and collaborative, giving you a space to be heard and explore what matters most to you.
Reaching out for support is a decision that takes enormous strength and bravery, and I feel honored to be a part of this journey whenever the time is right for you. I strive to meet my clients where they are to establish a strong and meaningful connection. I value building a caring and safe relationship with my clients and use a great deal of humor in my work. I support young adults with a wide range of struggles and utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities. I've been working in the field for almost 20 years. I specialize in working with teens/young adults. Some of my focuses include issues around anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning/school difficulties, school stressors in general, LGBTQIA+, relationship/family issues, and life transitions. I want to help my clients feel empowered to live with more peace, health and confidence. I use various modalities, depending on what the client needs, to help individuals explore feelings, identify helpful coping skills and ultimately reach their goals. Often, I see clients who need help understanding patterns of behavior that have caused distress, and it is through self-awareness and support that positive change can start to occur. I am focused on developing a trusted therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect. I am down to earth and easy to talk to. I strive to create the space for clients to explore their strengths and challenges in a supportive, nonjudgemental way. It is important to have an unbiased person support you through life's ups and downs.
Chi is all about helping you feel more present in your life. With a fusion of cognitive-behavioral therapy, talk therapy, and Eastern philosophies, Chi brings a fresh perspective to help you. Imagine feeling more present, less stressed, and in tune with your mind, body, and spirit. That's Chi's mission – to empower you to thrive holistically. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression or just need someone to talk to, Chi is your ally, dedicated to co-creating positive changes that resonate with you. A typical session begins with a brief check-in; we then proceed to engage in mindfulness or somatic-centered exercises designed to enhance coping skills. Toward the end of the session, we integrate these skills, empowering you to overcome distress and feel more present in your daily life. My journey started unexpectedly one day by chance or fate when I stumbled upon a book on Eastern philosophy and mindfulness while browsing through a thrift store. It was a serendipitous moment that introduced me to mindfulness and its potential to improve well-being. Intrigued by what I read, I found myself drawn into the practice of mindfulness. This newfound passion eventually inspired me to pursue a master's degree in counseling, setting me on the path I'm on today. I strive to create an open and safe environment for collaboration and exploration with my clients. My approach is anti-oppressive and I celebrate each individual's expression of identity and cultural differences.
As a Harvard-trained licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience, I often see clients who struggle with managing stress and anxiety, have unsatisfying family and personal relationships, experience health problems or grief and loss, or have trouble focusing in school and work. Change involves both insight and actual changes in one's behavior. My goal is to create a time and place with you where we can work safely to explore the origins of the problems and then make improvements. My approach is warm, supportive, and actively focused on bringing about lasting change. I provide therapy via telehealth. <script src="https://thrivingcampus.com/verified.js?pid=46833"></script>
The therapy session is a time and space one sets aside to focus on self. To be with self. And to build one’s self. It can be challenging to reflect on patterns, thoughts and emotions, relationships, past events and/or change, but it can also be transformative and rewarding. My role as your therapist is to witness your process and to reflect back with you along the way. The therapeutic relationship is an essential piece of my practice and is built on honesty, trust, empathy, and compassion. In conjunction with traditional psychotherapeutic frameworks (CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Psychodynamic), I use Expressive Arts Therapy (Movement, Drama, Music/Sound, Art) to help foster a creative process. When applied therapeutically, a creative process can help a person heal, open up to change, and may offer new feelings, thoughts, insights, and perspectives As a Dance/Movement Therapist, I specialize in using movement as a tool to identify, explore, and shift the way one relates to self, other, and the world around. I believe engaging in an integrative, body based psychotherapy process is a direct and effective path to embodied growth and transformation.
Hi, thanks so much for taking an interest in my practice. It takes great courage and awareness to come to the decision to reach out for support. I see clients in my office in Cambridge, MA, near Davis Square, and in Melrose, MA, as well as by teletherapy/videochat. I specialize in helping people to free themselves from the 'silent conversation' that we have with ourselves throughout the day. By understanding how this conversation influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions, it is possible to adapt it to feel more empowered in life. It is my hope that your therapy experience will feel comforting, meaningful, real, and effective in getting to the heart of your core concerns. I work from an integrative framework in a warm and interactive environment, drawing from holistic, cognitive, and psychodynamic influences to help people to reclaim a sense of choice and authorship in their lives. My background includes more than 25 years in clinical healthcare, school, and community settings working therapeutically with individuals, couples, and groups on a wide-range of issues causing acute and chronic distress. I believe entering into a therapeutic relationship shows a desire to grow and learn during a time that may be difficult. Luckily, this is where the possibility for unlocking potential and true growth begins. At our practice, we strive to foster an environment where people feel safe, comfortable and open towards being challenged, allowing them to persevere and achieve.
I’m happy you’ve taken that first step and found your way here. I understand it’s not easy to seek out support. Therapy is unique to each person, but some themes I have noticed people are seeking out are an understanding of their emotions, an improved ability to cope and function and feeling more empowered about their individual situations. I also specialize in and offer years of expertise supporting individuals around issues related to parenting, identity development, LBGTQIA+ identities and life transitions. The space I provide is welcoming, gentle and warm. My approach is person-centered and eclectic at its core. I am thoughtful and attentive in finding ways to make therapy accessible and meaningful. I primarily use talk therapy and am skilled at incorporating creativity, coping skills and mindfulness into my work to make therapy individualized to your needs. My hope for you is that you realize your own strength and ability to be the driving force in determining what success means to you in therapy. I believe in your ability to be your own expert and to find your own strength and awareness to promote your personal growth and healing. I’m here to support you and meet you where you are on life’s journey.
