Thank you for stopping by! I'm Jenn! College is an incredible time where we are gaining independence and working towards our next phase of life while figuring out where we belong, what our next steps will be, and hopefully having some fun while we do it! My passion is working with young adults in helping them to better understand themselves, figure out where they want to go next, and navigate a new world of responsibility. As someone who spent 4 years in undergrad and 3 years in grad school myself, I know how hard it can be to be away from home, trying to figure out where you fit in both on campus and in the world as whole. Mental health needs don't stop because we've got work to do... in fact, they can feel much worse when accompanied by the additional demands of being a college student, being away from home, and not wanting to let your family down. Whether you could use some help deciding on a career path, adjusting to the change from high school to college, or are struggling with low self-esteem, lack of confidence, anxiety, stress, or relationship issues, I will work collaboratively with you, building on your strengths and what is important to you while helping to guide you towards the goals you would like to achieve, even if you're not quite sure what those goals are just yet!

Welcome! I have experience working with people of all ages who have found themselves faced with anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, life transition and stress, parenting challenges, social and relationship issues, and feeling stuck in general. My approach is highly relational, warm, supportive and sprinkled with humor when appropriate. Our initial sessions will focus on building trust and using collaboration and curiosity as we develop a plan to address your concerns. I firmly believe that we all have inherent resources and strengths within us that can be tapped into to support the process of healing and growth. For the past 17 years I have worked in a variety of settings including trauma-focused outpatient therapy, therapeutic schools, residential, and foster care and adoptions. I use a holistic mind-body approach informed by Attachment Theory, Sensorimotor Therapies, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, DBT, CBT, and Collaborative Problem Solving. The decision to seek the support of therapy for yourself or a loved one is not a light one and at times can feel overwhelming. I have a deep appreciation of the courage it takes to reach out during a time of vulnerability and welcome the chance to speak with you about your needs.

I enjoy helping to support people as they navigate through the many different waves of life. I help to create a warm, non judgmental, and supportive environment where clients are free to talk about their stories. I draw from a number of different treatment modalities, but most importantly, meet the client where they are at. While each individual's experience is unique, I regularly work with clients around topics related to anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts, relationship concerns, sexuality, ADHD, life's transitions, familial conflict and many more. In this busy world, it can be difficult to make time to focus on your needs. Therapy provides a space to do so and share your story in a safe and non judgmental environment. Sessions are a time to practice self care, utilize your strengths, and develop tools that help you gain a better understanding of you. I would love to have the chance to work with you and hear your story. Currently, sessions are teletherapy based allowing you more flexibility to be in a familiar setting and join from any mobile or desktop device. I would love to help you with the process of learning more about you and develop the tools to navigate the many waves of life.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like yourself lately, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I’m a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, and I believe the best care happens when we work together. As a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I look at your mental and physical health as parts of the same, connected story—not separate issues. In our work together, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard. I take a holistic and individualized approach, helping you understand what’s behind your symptoms, explore treatment options in clear, practical terms, and build strategies that fit your life and goals. I’ve supported people from late adolescence through older adulthood as they navigate life’s transitions. I have worked with young adults facing career transitions and the stress that often comes with major life changes. I also help individuals manage depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and mood disorders. Whether you’re continuing a treatment plan that’s already helping or seeking psychiatric care for the first time, I’ll meet you where you are. My goal is to help you feel respected, understood, and empowered to take an active role in your care.

Hi, I'm Lauren! I am a non-binary, queer AuDHD therapist practicing psychodynamic clinical social work in Massachusetts and Oregon. I also identify as white and mid-fat. My pronouns are she/they. In my practice, I specialize in working with adults who identify as, or are exploring whether they may be, LGBTQIA2S+ and/or neurodivergent, especially autistic and/or ADHD. Welcome to Unspoken Roots Psychotherapy! My name is Edward Chan, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Unspoken Roots Psychotherapy. I specialize in supporting Asian American college students and young adults as they navigate the unique challenges that can come from balancing personal goals, family expectations, cultural values, and the pressures of academic and professional success. Many Asian American students grow up carrying messages about achievement, responsibility, sacrifice, and making their families proud. While these values can be sources of strength, they can also contribute to anxiety, perfectionism, self-criticism, burnout, difficulty setting boundaries, and a persistent feeling of never being "good enough." You may find yourself succeeding on paper while privately struggling with stress, loneliness, imposter syndrome, or uncertainty about who you are beyond what you accomplish. Therapy offers a space to slow down and explore these experiences without judgment. Together, we can better understand the influences that have shaped you, process the challenges you're facing, and develop practical tools to manage anxiety, build self-confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a life that feels aligned with your own values—not just the expectations placed upon you. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, and insight-oriented therapy while remaining sensitive to the cultural, familial, and identity-related experiences that many Asian American students navigate. Whether you're struggling with academic pressure, family dynamics, relationships, career decisions, or your sense of belonging, you don't have to carry it alone. At Unspoken Roots Psychotherapy, I strive to create a space where the experiences that often go unspoken can be explored openly, helping you cultivate greater self-understanding, balance, and fulfillment as you navigate college and beyond.

I specialize in sleep difficulties, anxiety, nightmares, and trauma. I have a passion for helping people achieve their mental health goals and regain the energy and focus they need to achieve their goals and ambitions. I have seen evidence-based practices for insomnia, nightmares and trauma begin to alleviate debilitating symptoms in a very short amount of time. Whether you have been suffering for 3 months or 3 decades, I have witnessed people recover and regain a quality of their lives they thought was lost. Since recovery can be abrupt and dramatic for some, I also address adjustment to your sense of identity and grief associated with the many losses these struggles have caused. My style is interactive and direct, and I am passionate about helping clients work through areas where they feel stuck and hopeless. I understand how sleep issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal conflicts can make every day a struggle. One of my greatest joys is witnessing a client regain hope and recognize the ripple effect the one small change they made will have on their lives. We will work together to discover your strengths, learn new skills, and use them to create positive, lasting change.

I work best with clients who may appear to have it together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. Many are navigating trauma, OCD, mood changes, identity exploration, or relationship stress. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and those looking for an authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves and heal.
