I'm a firm believer that you don’t need to wait until things get really bad to start therapy. Every person is unique, and therapy should be the same - that’s why I take a tailored, individualized approach that’s flexible to meet your needs and goals. The foundation of our work is a multicultural-feminist perspective that positions you as the expert of your own experience. I take a warm, collaborative approach to help you get clarity about who you are and how you want your life to look. I also integrate evidence-based interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and relational frameworks. My goals involve helping clients move upstream to identify and resolve systemic and personal patterns that keep them stuck and working together to find more joy. I also believe that the personal is political. More often than not, sociopolitical systems of oppression like racism, sexism, heterosexism, transphobia, ableism, and more directly impact mental health. As a result, I take an actively anti-racist, intersectional, identity-affirming approach with clients across a broad spectrum of marginalization and privilege. I specialize in working with college students, graduate students, young adults, and professionals in Massachusetts on a variety of common issues including: mood (anxiety, depression), identity development, life transitions and adjustment, ADHD, relationship issues, academic and career issues, and burnout.
You might be here because life feels overwhelming, or you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, or the lingering impact of trauma. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in painful emotional cycles or disconnected from who they used to be, whether because of relationship changes, career shifts, immigration experiences, or earlier life events that continue to affect them. In our work together, I offer a safe, collaborative space where you set the pace. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors and draw from narrative therapy to explore how your life experiences shape the way you see yourself and your future. We’ll also integrate mindfulness and self-compassion strategies so you have practical tools to navigate challenges day to day. My previous experience includes supporting individuals in crisis, leading wellness groups, and connecting clients with resources to enhance their well-being. These experiences strengthened my dedication to whole-person care and the importance of meeting people where they are. I specialize in supporting adults, including those navigating cultural identity-related stress and life transitions. As a trilingual clinician, I pay close attention to the ways culture and identity can impact mental health. My goal is for you to feel truly heard, supported, and empowered as we work together toward lasting growth and well-being. When I’m not working, I recharge by sharing meals and conversations with friends, enjoying movies, or listening to music that helps me reset after a full day. If you’re considering therapy, you don’t need to have everything figured out to start. This is your time and space, and I’m here to meet you wherever you are.
**I am currently offering in person sessions in Princeton, NJ and virtual sessions. Are you experiencing anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, and/or "just not feeling yourself"? I specialize in working with college students and athletes that may be experiencing these challenges or performance related issues. My approach is personalized tailored to an individual's needs in a warm and supportive atmosphere. I am down to earth and direct, yet compassionate, empathetic, and caring. I strive to understand the special needs of each individual in order to enhance one's growth and development, reach one's goals, and live a more meaningful life, while embracing a multicultural sensitive atmosphere.
I ground my practice in establishing a warm and affirming therapeutic alliance, the relationship between client and clinician. From there, we establish a flow, understanding, and goals. This can look like anything from DBT skill-building, to sharing humor, meditating, or validating the parts of us that need love or care. As a former educator, I especially enjoy working with young people who are managing the variety of contending expectations which come along this stage. As a former professional musician, I understand the value of art and creativity in the healing process, the helpfulness of structure and consistency when needed, and the challenges that come with art as a career. Therapy can be a scary thing to jump into. Because of this, I prioritize making landing in therapy be as collaborative and catered to your needs as possible. Therapy should be a space that feels like yours, where you can feel safe to grow and problem solve in the ways and at the pace that feels best. I look forward to chatting!
Each of us has the potential to connect with and live from a creative, energized and compassionate center. Once established, we can perpetually draw upon this connection to understand and accept our past, to guide our present, and to embrace our future. With warmth, commitment and respect, and with attention to body, mind, and spirit, I work to help people access the inner resources they need to live with happiness, safety and ease. As a therapist, I meet people where they are. I collaborate with them to create a treatment that is flexible and responsive to their needs and experience, and help guide them toward their stated goals.
I am a licensed counseling psychologist in private practice in Brookline, Massachusetts. My work is informed by multiculturally informed contemporary psychoanalytic thinking and a commitment to creating a thoughtful, collaborative, and emotionally attuned therapeutic relationship. I approach therapy with patience, curiosity, and a strong commitment to the therapeutic relationship. I understand that trust develops over time, and I aim to offer a space where thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns can be explored openly and at a comfortable pace.
It's hard to be successful as a college student when you are constantly worried, have that "sinking feeling" in your stomach, have difficulty managing your time and social commitments. These can be signs of anxiety and I can help with treatment that works. I also treat panic disorders, PTSD and other trauma related challenges. I can help you deal with perfectionism, performance anxiety, creativity struggles, environmental anxiety, gender identity, experience of sexual trauma, and attention related struggles. I also help improve male mental health journeys. My clients note they like my present and focused approach that does not leave them "floundering" in therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you get better faster. I know you already have the capacity and the strength to change, and you are channeling it right now. Even if you don't feel that power we will help you connect to it. I have seen the transformation many times, the freedom and the full engagement in life that can follow after the most distressing anxiety symptoms are under control.
Are you looking to find relief from your daily struggles? A nurturing therapeutic relationship can help you uncover the self-love, acceptance, and resilience needed to grow and change. With deep respect for your uniqueness and wisdom, this relationship can inspire and act as the catalyst for progress. My work with clients focuses on cultivating emotional intelligence and fostering a deeper understanding of underlying experiences and core beliefs. I work with young adults and adults who are navigating the complexities of ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the unique nuances of women’s health. As a holistic therapist, I draw from expressive arts therapy, somatic experiencing, parts work, and guided meditation. This integrative style allows us to move beyond talk therapy, tapping into your subconscious and creativity as powerful tools for transformation. I offer concrete and easily applicable methods for healing and connection. I am passionate about self-discovery and helping you to be the most authentic and aligned version of yourself. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive of all backgrounds. Together, we’ll create a path forward that honors who you are and where you want to go. I invite you to connect and take the first steps towards a more joyful experience of life.

Therapy provides a space for you to process difficult feelings and situations. As a therapist, I help patients explore new ways of engaging with the world and with themselves. My goal is for patients to translate insights and skills into noticeable changes in their lives. My style balances pragmatism, humor, compassion, and curiosity. I treat a range of concerns, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, alcohol/substance use, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I draw on a range of theoretical approaches, emphasizing rootedness in the present moment and interpersonal connection.
While specializing in men's issues, anger management, and adolescent and college student populations, I also work individually with women dealing with anxiety, loss and relationship issues. With an emphasis on strengthening relationships and self-esteem, therapy is designed for people searching for a more balanced approach to working through change. I offer family therapy, have extended success connecting with male and female adolescence whose behaviors have been labeled oppositional or explosive, and work with parents/families who struggle with how to relate and communicate with their teenager and each other. Men's Issues/male and female adolescent populations and families work through challenges they have in expressing emotion, managing anger, and interpersonal communication. Men become comfortable with and learn the benefits of therapy rather than holding on to old stereotypes. I offer Sports Psychology consulting for men/women/teens. Client's gain insight, increase self-awareness, and find solutions. They learn coping skills, control emotional impulses, and learn relaxation from a therapist who has spent 15 years studying and practicing meditation. Hi! My name is Gabrielle (or you can call me Gabbe). Whether you’re new to therapy or returning for another go, here’s what you can expect from our sessions: a conversation where clinical insight, directness, and compassion intersect. In a world where daily demands, change and past experiences can make us feel stressed or lost, your identity, dignity, and needs should be a priority. Together, we’ll collaborate to create a space where you can feel understood while also being gently challenged toward the life and relationships you strive for. I specialize in supporting individuals with eating disorders, anxiety, and stressful life transitions by helping them cultivate a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with food, themselves, and the people in their lives. My approach is trauma-informed, HAES aligned, and centers around making authentic change by moving forward with imperfections and recognizing when it’s time to cut ourselves some slack. Outside of the therapy office, I’m often spending my time with my loved ones, enjoying fresh air, and window shopping at various vintage thrift markets. I also enjoy playing video games (especially the Sims or Elden Ring), or trying new, crafty activities when I feel a more introverted! You deserve a space where you feel genuinely seen and safe to show up as yourself. If you're curious whether you'd find that space here, please reach out and we can schedule a free consult call!

Hi, my name is Jake and I’m a therapist in Brookline. I meet with clients in person and online. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and particularly young adults and people early in their careers who are searching for more meaning, fulfillment and balance in life. Regardless of the main issue that brings individuals into therapy, many of my clients struggle with some type of self-defeating narrative, or what I call, an unworkable story about themselves or about some aspect of their lives. I enjoy helping people uncover these unworkable patterns and develop more effective ways of viewing themselves and their lives. Working with me involves exploring what gets in the way of more openness, awareness and engagement with life, and then practicing increasing these ways of being through exercises (such as mindfulness approaches), use of metaphor to shift perspective and other behavioral moves. It’s important to me that I meet every client where he or she is at and work collaboratively toward creating the life you want for yourself. I look forward to connecting with you!
