Welcome to my page! If you have found yourself here, you may be finding the adjustment to college a little tougher than expected, feeling stressed out or anxious, or maybe just a little blue. Your college years are very formative years of your life, but they can also bring unique challenges. I truly enjoy walking this path alongside students, and provide a safe and nurturing space for young adults to go from surviving to thriving.
Are you questioning your self-worth? Feeling like you're not living up to society's expectations? Having difficulty resolving concerns within your relationships? Having difficulty feeling connected emotionally & sexually to your partner? Feeling the need to be a perfectionist? Questioning if you will ever be able to find love & be loved? Feeling that you have current or childhood trauma that you need to overcome? If any of these resonate with you, I am here to provide a safe, confidential space for you to learn empowering ways to have self-confidence, contentment, & bliss. Let's work together to start rewriting a new narrative. I utilize different therapeutic modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). In my work with couples, my approach is informed by my training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2). I offer a space to form a collaborative relationship where we focus on your goals that will allow you to change circumstances or relationships that feel unhealthy, as well as gaining life skills and knowledge that will nourish your best self.
I approach therapy through a cognitive, culturally sensitive, and mindfulness based lens. I utilize EMDR to help process trauma and other negative emotions stored in the body. I have completed EMDR basic training under Deany Laliotis, LICSW and am working toward my full EMDR certification under the consultation of Dr. Pegah Moghaddam, PsyD. I work with clients experiencing a myriad of clinical concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, and grief. Additionally, I have a passion for working with individuals overcoming complex trauma, including sexual abuse. Some of my other clinical experiences include working with substance use, HIV/AIDS, eating disorders, and suicidal ideation. Many of my clients are seeking out culturally sensitive care, where their identities are given the space to be seen and heard. During our time together we will work on building awareness of thought patterns, beliefs, and narratives that no longer serve you. I believe we all have the power to re-write unhelpful narratives, challenge negative thoughts, and transform our lives.
My goal is to help my clients achieve optimal functioning by assisting them on their path to wellness. We are Living Fully Psychological Services, but affectionately call ourselves Living Fully Therapy. Dr. Pegah Moghaddam is the owner and founder of Living Fully. We provide therapy online and in-person at an office located in Atlanta, Georgia, within walking distance of Emory University. Our psychologists and therapists specialize in therapy for trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and sleep. With life experience comes pain, loss, and suffering. I think it can be normal to find therapy awkward, uncomfortable, or anxiety provoking, especially at first, and so it is really important to me to help create a space that can be tailored to support you as much as possible. I collaborate with you to uncover what you value, the person you would like to move towards being, and together we create a path that helps you move in the direction you would like to go. I use an integrative, client-led and trauma-informed approach that blends complementary therapeutic modalities to hold space for both your mind and body in sessions. The heart of which is a desire to understand you, to invite in curiosity, and to help support you in embodying your potential. Empathy and compassion play a big role in this as well as a little laughter. I will also lean into activation, discomfort, and challenging you at times. This is done with the explicit understanding this is your place to let me know when it is too much, when it is a “no”, or when I’ve mis-attuned. I use a feedback-informed approach to learn how to better support you. Feel free to visit my website to learn more about my specialties and the therapeutic approaches I use. I'm happy to answer any questions. I look forward to connecting!

I believe therapy can be a transformative experience, and it requires a lot of courage to take that first step toward healing. I enjoy working with young adults struggling with a sense of self and identity, those with personality and mood disorders, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals questioning their sexuality and/or gender presentation. I can’t wait to accompany you on this journey.

I specialize in working with eating disorders of all kinds—from anorexia to ARFID and everything in between. Alongside this, I also support individuals navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and OCD. Together, we’ll work to gently untangle these challenges with curiosity, compassion, and care. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in which I hold a Level 2 certification through Behavioral Tech.
