Many of the students I work with are used to handling things on their own. They're hardworking, care deeply about the people around them and often put a lot of pressure on themselves to keep everything together. From the outside, they may seem like they're doing fine, but inside they're feeling overwhelmed, anxious or unsure of what comes next. If you're looking for a therapist who will listen without judgment, help you make sense of what you're experiencing and work alongside you to create meaningful change, we may be a good fit. You don't have to have everything figured out before you start therapy, just a willingness to show up.

Hardworking, ambitious, fucking exhausted. I work with women (18–30) who look like they have it together but are absolutely depleting themselves to stay that way. They’re responsible, creative, used to handling a lot…but they’re tired of overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling like no matter how hard they work, it’s never enough. Some have anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma histories. Others just know something feels off, that life feels heavier than it should. Often, they’re great at coping on the outside, which can make it hard to admit they’re struggling at all. But let’s be honest: Appearing “fine” is a full-time job. In therapy, we slow things down on purpose. We look at the patterns you’ve been stuck in — people-pleasing, avoidance, self-criticism — and figure out what’s actually driving them. We work with your nervous system instead of fighting against it. We build practical tools that help you move forward in your life. My style is warm, direct, & honest. I care deeply about my clients and will absolutely challenge you when it matters. I use EMDR, ACT, & DBT skills in ways that are personal and actually useful.

Hello! My name is Sang-Mi Lee (she/they), and I am an MSW student at the University of Georgia. Prior to pursuing my master’s, I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Asian-American studies from Washington University in St. Louis. I believe that finding pride in your authentic self is one of the most important (and scary!) journeys we take throughout our lives. As a Korean-American member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am well-versed in navigating multiple identities and wish to provide support and guidance for those who may be feeling lost. Alongside my therapeutic studies, I have spent many years working in psychological research with an emphasis on wellness across the lifespan and developing one’s purpose in life. My publications have focused specifically on helping disenfranchised and minoritized individuals receive the best support possible for their development. I am also interested in the intersection of mental and physical health, and want to promote treatment adherence and positive lifestyle changes for those living with both physical and psychiatric diseases. I am honored to be a part of the Roll for Wellness team as a lifelong nerd and gamer. Whether it’s roleplaying during a TTRPG or crafting a cosplay for your next anime convention, I believe an abundance of self-confidence and healing can take place while engaging in creative pursuits. However, artistic creation can be a slippery slope as we constantly battle with imposter syndrome and perfectionism. Together, we can identify your strengths and use your passions to support your overall health and wellbeing. When I’m not working, I love doing puzzles with my family, cuddling my doggies, or playing video games with my friends!

Sometimes life is just hard, you are going along, and everything is fine, when, suddenly, wham!...everything changes, and leaves you asking, "now what?" You were taught how to do Algebra, but not how to deal with the situation you find yourself in. For us, therapy is about finding the right tools for you so that you can, in the healthiest way possible, thrive in the hardest times. We want you to know that you are amazing, and infinitely capable, and that sometimes you just need a little bit of help learning how to deal with life's curve balls. Most of our work has focused on treating trauma, and working through the hard things that have happened in a client's life. We have assisted many individuals process through and overcome childhood trauma, sexual assault, neglect, abuse, abandonment, anxiety, depression, and many of the other problems created by trauma. We believe in treating the whole person. While you may come to us because you are struggling with emotional concerns, we believe that the mind and body are connected, and will work with you to help you improve your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Currently, my practice focuses on anxiety, depression, substance use, relationships, school stress, trauma, disordered eating, and other health concerns (e.g., sleep problems, adjusting to medical diagnoses, etc.). My primary task as your psychologist is to foster a supportive, collaborative environment where we are able to identify and work towards meaningful goals. In order to accomplish that, I utilize an array of strategies and therapeutic methods that are tailored to your particular presenting concerns. Together, we will collaborate to identify what is causing or perpetuating your distress and come up with strategies to improve your quality of life and help you thrive. I believe that hope and healing is an attainable goal for everyone. I work with individuals and families coping with depression, self esteem, anxiety, behavior problems, relationship issues, adoption, grief, domestic violence, and multicultural issues to help them them recover from trauma, refocus on the things that bring true joy, and find healing. I believe that when clients learn to refocus their thoughts and make key behavioral changes, they are able to find peace and renewed wellness. A Christ centered approach is offered and discussions of faith are welcome while not mandatory. Client's views are respected and honored. I operate primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral model, focusing on the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how to bring about change. This approach is well suited to working with a wide variety of issues including Depressive and Anxiety Disorders. Millie, my therapy dog in training, also accompanies me to the office some days. I grew up in several countries all over the world which now allows me to offer counseling from an expert point of view on the unique challenges facing "third culture kids" and their families. I am also well versed in Latin American culture and am fluent in Spanish.

My name is Amanda Schneider and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and then obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. I am currently under supervision, supervised by Adina Tucker LCSW, while I work to obtain my LCSW. Life transitions can be challenging whether you’re adjusting to a new phase, managing anxiety, moving through grief, facing relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck. I work with adults and teenagers (13+) who are navigating these complexities, offering a grounded space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Therapy is unique to each person and together, we will explore what works best for you. In a safe space, we will explore your strengths, goals, and experiences in order to find healing and growth. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and centered on helping you reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll focus on building self-esteem, practicing self-compassion, and recognizing your own strengths especially in moments when those things feel hard to access. With a background in hospice care, I have experience working with individuals and families navigating chronic illness, death, and the grief that comes with those experiences. I’ve also worked with older adults navigating anxiety, depression, isolation, and aging related issues. These experiences shaped the way I show up as a therapist and I strive to offer a space where you feel safe to be yourself and talk through your true thoughts and feelings. Starting therapy isn’t always easy, and it’s okay to feel unsure about where to begin. I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, reconnect with a sense of purpose, and build skills that support you long after our work together.

College can be a fun and exciting chapter of life, but when something goes wrong, it can quickly feel out of control and overwhelming. Many students I work with are high achievers who appear to have it all together, yet privately struggle with anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, loneliness, or the pressure to constantly perform and succeed, especially leading up to graduation as they prepare for the next chapter. When we live with constant pressures and a lack of self-compassion, we may begin feeling exhausted, disconnected, and unsure of ourselves. As a health psychologist, I enjoy helping college students navigate the academic, social, and personal challenges of this stage of life. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way, build practical skills to manage stress and stay focused, and strengthen your confidence and self-compassion. My goal is always to ensure you feel heard and understood, and to help you create a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and true to who you are. Together, we gain clarity on personal values, goals, and we build strategies to break through barriers and move towards what you truly want in life.

Life is happening to us all, and learning how to adjust to our everyday life is work we all have to do. Let me be your guide! Our time together is spent engaging in conversation with you, educating you on tools and techniques to help you achieve your personal goals, and empowering you to do the necessary work for your growth. I prioritize the unique experience and perspectives of each client. By creating a safe and supportive environment, we take a solution-focused approach which can be effective for many individuals, as it emphasizes finding a practical solution and setting achievable goals rather than solely delving into past issues. Life can present challenges that feel overwhelming, and it's completely normal to seek support during difficult times. I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can be daunting, but please know that you are not alone. I look forward to being your guide, helping you navigate your journey toward healing and growth.

If you are feeling stuck in your life and looking for some insight, this is a very relatable experience. I often see clients who are tired of experiencing stress, confusion, anxiety or panic, depression, lack of enjoyment, etc. These experiences may come as a result of painful or traumatic life experiences, fear of the unknown, oppressive social messages or expectations, major life changes, loss and grief... As someone who has participated in counseling as a client, I am committed to a relationship with you built on mutual trust and compassion. My goal is to help guide your ability to tap into your inner wisdom, trust yourself, and release stuck emotions, so you can feel liberated from the things that have gotten in your way or weighed you down.
