I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression or have been through tough times and want to heal from trauma. College specifically can be a difficult time emotionally, moving into adulthood and living on your own for the first time. Therapy can be a great way to process these changes, learn new ways to cope with stress, and get resources and support. I'd love to chat.

I am passionate about helping people stay present while experiencing meaning and joy. If you are looking to live intentionally and mindfully, we can work together to help you begin your progress towards a more fulfilling life. Hi! My main goal is always to help my clients to help themselves, so you feel empowered to embrace stress and change as it comes. With experience working in an eating disorder hospital and 7 years working as a therapist in the Athletic Depts at UT Austin and CU Boulder, I've been involved with supporting my clients through the life challenges that high schoolers, young adults, and adults face for my entire professional career. I am EMDR certified and use this to treat trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, urges in addiction/EDs, and sport performance (both positive reinforcement as well as treating mental blocks). I particularly enjoy teaching tools for navigating anxiety and depressive symptoms, helping to make peace with body image, and supporting mental performance for sport. I also have a passion for supporting perfectionists to expand their view of themselves and learn to release a little of the control that is actually controlling them!

I have been working in the outpatient setting for over 10 years. I've rotated through a student mental health clinic during my training and have worked with many college aged students. College can be an exciting time of change and growth and finding purpose and connection. College can also be a big adjustment, as you acclimate to a new setting, new responsibilities and being away from home for an extended period, sometimes for the first time. It is often during these big life changes that you may need a little extra help settling in, getting into new routines. Through a combination of therapy and careful use of medication, we can work on getting you in a place to fully engage in and enjoy your college experience.

Whether you are struggling with perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, can't get over your last relationship, or just don't know if you want to keep going at all...I'm here to help. I struggled mentally throughout my late teens and early twenties; carrying around a lot of shame, self-doubt, and difficulty understanding why it appeared so much easier for everyone else. As a therapist, I am here to listen--not just to your stories, but for the swells of deep feeling that can lead to healing. Together, we will uncover your false beliefs that may be causing unneeded suffering and learn to trust your inner voice as a guide and companion.

I work best with students who feel overwhelmed by the pressure to keep everything together on their own. Many of my clients are juggling classes, relationships, family expectations, and their own mental health, and they're tired of pretending they're fine. I especially connect with students navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or big transitions like starting college, switching majors, or returning to school after time away. Clients often come in feeling stuck, stressed, or unsure of what they want, but they're also thoughtful, motivated, and ready for a space where they don't have to perform. If you're someone who wants support untangling what's working, what's not, and how to move toward a life that feels more balanced, grounded, and genuinely yours, we'll be a great fit.

My goal is to help you find new ways to relate to the world and to enable you to embrace your experiences more fully and bravely. I hope to do this by creating a safe, open, and collaborative environment where you can experiment with new ways of relating to yourself and others. I bring in skills from therapies, such as ACT and DBT, to help you find your strengths and develop your resources. And I recognize that the most growth occurs in an authentic relationship which balances compassion with challenge and emphasizes social justice and intersectionality. Having recovered from an eating disorder, I approach my work from a Health-at-Every-Size and fat-positive framework. All bodies are good bodies, all foods are good foods, and all emotions are valid. I also have experience working with interpersonal trauma, grief, relationship struggles, disordered eating and body image concerns, and identity development, as well as anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
