I've worked in several University Counseling Centers and also serve as an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Applied Psychology at NYU. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals, including those from diverse backgrounds, who are grappling with many different issues: transition to college, relationship struggles, family issues, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, identity, sexual orientation, grief/loss, and existential challenges. I've worked with student-athletes, international students, people of color, LGBTQIA individuals, study-abroad students, members of Greek Life, and graduate/doctoral students. I am a down-to-earth, insightful, non-judgmental, REAL, sometimes funny, and consistently compassionate therapist. I love working with college students! I've been told by many clients that I'm easy to talk to. I will listen, support you, provide honest feedback, and help you to navigate your challenges effectively so you can be your best self as you pursue your educational and life goals. I am based in Boulder, Colorado can meet with you virtually or in-person at my office on Broadway. I look forward to hearing from you!

Welcome! I work with teens and young adults ages 16+ who are in all phases of the college/university process. My specialty is transition and the process of discovering who you are now that you are in college. This includes how to manage all the ups and downs of relationships, academics, family, and work. I use humor and a direct, warm approach along with evidence based techniques such as CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems to help you feel genuinely understood while you gain the tools you need to thrive. I see clients in person in Boulder, CO as well as via secure video sessions. I’m excited to meet you.
My journey into the world of mental health services has come through my own struggles with adoption trauma, addiction, and long-term depression. Such conditions have made me an avid researcher of the human mind and heart, and a passionate experimenter of the means by which we transform both. This research and experimentation has (thankfully) fine-tuned my relationship skills and made me fluent in many languages of internal exploration. The most impactful of all of these have been the practices of meditation and somatic psychotherapy. I have spent nearly twenty years exploring them in depth and I would love to share them with you.
I specialize in working with anxiety and OCD. Students that I work with report feeling more confident, free from fear, and understanding themselves better through our work together. I work 1-on-1 with folks in person or virtually, and I also run a virtual OCD support group. Navigating the transition to college alongside mental health challenges can be difficult, and I'm here to support you along the way. Reach out now and we can chat to determine if we're a good fit!
Are you searching for Whole-Person Healing Rooted in Mindfulness, Energy, and Emotional Balance? I've created a space where people are gently guided back to their most authentic selves—a place where both light and shadow are honored. I believe healing isn’t linear, and there’s no “right” way to grow. This is a space where shame, guilt, and self-doubt can be released from the body, and where your full humanity is embraced. We will cultivate tools and insight to help you reconnect with your truth and rise into your highest self.
My passion is helping others to manage their stress, anxiety, and depression. I help adults and teens achieve balance and flow in their life through therapy and mindfulness training. I believe in working with people from where they are in life. Each one of us intuitively knows what we need in order to work through life's struggles. Through mindfulness, self-inquiry, being outdoors, and moving our bodies, I can help you to find more peace and stillness in a time of stress and intensity. Believing that you already have everything you need to get through the difficult times in your life is essential. Offerings: Multi-Modality Coaching & Talk Therapy Using different modalities (CBT, mindfulness therapy, coaching) I facilitate a deeper sense of self-awareness and understanding, enabling you to get unstuck, find a deeper sense of peace, and reach your peak performance. Movement-Based Nature Therapy We will move together outside and connect in a therapeutic relationship. Movement stimulates the brain, enabling parts of yourself to come out that wouldn’t necessarily arise in a typical therapeutic setting.
I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger issues, relationships and broader questions of meaning and purpose. I offer one on one sessions, EMDR and couples therapy. I'd love to offer you a consultation to hear about what challenges you're facing, and share a little about how I can help!

Relationships (with ourselves or others) are where our deepest hurts and greatest joys live. It is brave to seek support when things feel messy or overwhelming. You don't have to be perfect to lead, love, or live well—you just need to feel steady and supported. With more than 17 years of experience as a contemplative psychotherapist, I support adults and couples in navigating anxiety, transitions (identities, life, and family), relationship and systemic challenges, and a variety of mental health issues. My practice is rooted in the present moment and Buddhist psychology, which means we start from the belief that you already possess an innate wisdom and basic goodness that needs the opportunity to be uncovered. I offer an unconditional presence and a place to explore this freely. If that resonates, I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit. My Approach to Care I specialize in social power dynamics and Contemplative Psychotherapy, integrating training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other therapeutic modalities, offering a systemic lens that honors your whole identity while helping you navigate internal and external conflicts. Whether repairing trust after betrayal, navigating neurodivergence, exploring the complexities of life and identity transitions, or reclaiming your voice within complex systems, I provide the tools needed for deep healing and self-awareness. While I serve adults with any identity, I especially welcome neurodivergent, trans, queer, people with criminal histories, and polyamorous folks who need a therapist who offers a nonjudgmental and experienced perspective. My passion is supporting others in their human journeys toward power-consciousness and right-relationship with themselves, others, and the larger world around us. This includes navigating conflict, befriending our shadows, and learning more about what is most meaningful to us. Working together, you can expect an open and attentive environment where I prioritize your dignity and sense of belonging. My style is both spacious and direct, and I tailor my approach to your unique needs, orientation, and preferences. A Journey into Exceptional Patient Care When I finally found what gave me the strength & flexibility to hold the distress, it was through my relationship with what I call my rooted self and with those who helped me to cultivate my own personal power, time in the natural world, and what was most meaningful to me (not to someone else or dominant culture). I've come to see that the most powerful healing often happens when we uncover our own inner wisdom with those who hold it with respect & care. I've lived in places across the globe, learning different languages, cultures, and ways of being, always moving in search of answers to the distress and disconnection I felt within and around me. Along the way, I studied books, sought spiritual or mystical experiences, and meditated. I was told to turn toward the distress, discomfort, or dissonance, but it felt overwhelming without the right support or understanding. Most of modernity's structures do not support the connection, space, and care required for such human work. When I finally found what gave me the strength and flexibility to hold the distress, it was through my relationship with what I call my rooted self and with those who helped me cultivate my own personal power, time in the natural world, and what was most meaningful to me (not to someone else or the dominant culture). I've come to see that the most powerful healing often happens when we uncover our own inner wisdom with those who hold it with respect and care. I am a mother to three (two girls and one nonbinary kiddo) and partner to one fabulous trans human. Alongside my family, I enjoy time alone, being in nature, and doing creative things. I love to read, write, and research (even though I'm a recovering academic). While I don't have time anymore for things like Latin dance or martial arts, I try to move as much as I can, mostly through intentional or integrated movement for my hypermobile body, and by taking walks.
When your mind won’t slow down, your heart feels heavy, or your story feels complicated, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I support clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship patterns. My style is gentle, direct, and a little playful; think compassion with a dash of humor. Together we’ll untangle what’s hurting, strengthen what’s working, and help you feel more like you. Therapy works best when you can show up as yourself. I integrate different tools and interventions to match your needs, whether you want deeper insight, practical coping skills, or both. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe. Healing can be hard, but it’s still worth it. If you’re curious about working together, contact me by phone or email, or text (970) 829-8780. I see clients in Boulder, Broomfield, and Lakewood.
As a therapist, I offer insight-oriented therapy, which includes deep self-reflection, exploration of your hopes and goals, and artistic exploration. My practice focuses on attachment work, which helps people to strengthen their connection with their truth and authenticity. Being true to ourselves leads to greater self-worth, intuition, empathy, and better relationships. We can more confidently pursue our passions and purpose, and be more clear on our next steps in life. Young adults often see me to address the transition to college or graduation from college. Others are dealing with difficult family dynamics, including situations where their identities or life choices are not accepted or respected by family members. Some are seeking guidance as they develop their professional identity and consider their life trajectory. Others are healing from trauma, including sexual assault or abuse. The tools I draw on when working with young adults include talk therapy and EMDR—and I also find mediums like sand tray and art therapy to be useful. I offer sessions in-office or nature-based. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship itself can be innately healing, and that establishing rapport quickly is crucial to supporting you in the work we do together. I was raised in a commune-style farm setting in rural Pennsylvania, and earned my BA from Middlebury College and then my MA in counseling psychology from Lesley College. I am currently pursuing her certificate in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Academy for Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis in Livingston, NJ. I am a mother of three and a longtime practitioner of yoga, meditation, and Jin Shin Jyutsu (Japanese acupressure). These practices inform my interest in the well-being of the whole person. I provide a safe and comfortable space where you can explore the parts of your life that you value and also the parts you may want to change. My approach is to cultivate a sense of curiosity and kindness while supporting you in saying whatever is on your mind. As we put our thoughts and feelings into words, we tend to grow more comfortable in ourselves, even in the midst of discomfort. We may find ourselves in more positive relationships at home, at school, and at work. We may find more clarity about how we want to live our lives. Whether in person or online, I see the therapeutic process as a catalyst for reflection, exploration, self-understanding, and personal growth. Together, we will work to understand the richness of who you are and resolve whatever is getting in the way of achieving your personal and professional goals.
I have over 10 years of experience working with hundreds of college-age clients from all walks of life. With my background as both a special education teacher and college and career counselor, I enjoy helping clients explore their identity, increase self-confidence and autonomy, and overcome fears (or whatever else is blocking them from living well). As a therapist, most of the clients I see experience OCD, anxiety, and neurodivergence. I tailor treatment to my clients’ individual needs and create a warm, supportive environment in sessions where they can truly be themselves without judgment.
