I feel called to work with a variety of clients with varying issues, age ranges, and cultural backgrounds. My clients range from children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Working from a holistic lens, my clients and I work collaboratively to integrate the mind, body, and spirit. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, past traumas, physical pain or illness, or seeking personal exploration and growth, we will join in our relationship to explore what lies underneath your symptoms. I take a person-centered, integrative approach in which I gauge what works best for each client. I incorporate approaches that integrate the mind, body, and spirit by including somatic approaches, mindfulness, and deep explorations within. Our work together will focus on building coping skills as well as processing the roots of your symptoms. I acknowledge how much effort and energy it takes just to get here to this point - reaching out for help. You hold the key to healing yourself, my intention is to guide you toward finding those answers. I will create a safe, supportive space for you to be able to freely process whatever brings you into the room.

Dr. Jedel has over 20 years of experience helping students and university staff work through life's difficult challenges. She works with young adults to help them develop soutions to the unique challenges of college life both on and off campus. Dr. Jedel approaches her work with a short-term, problem focused model, helping her clients resolve the specific issues they are seeking for. Are there times you feel stuck, overwhelmed, tired, or confused? Are there times you feel lonely, disconnected, and unheard even when you are surrounded by people? Do you have many expectations or pressure placed on you by friends, family, society, and even yourself? Do you question or blame yourself when things are not going “right”? Sometimes we struggle with these difficult thoughts and feelings and don’t know what to do. And that’s okay! You are not alone! You don’t have to have everything figured out! It is okay to feel many conflicting feelings at the same time, perhaps some more than others. It can seem scary, painful, and difficult to begin your journey of self-exploration. I will be here to support and guide you on your journey toward growth and healing. I am passionate about creating a safe and affirming place that offers authenticity, humor, and genuineness for you to share your stories. I believe in healing and growth through processing and making meanings of your experiences, recognizing your strengths, embracing your identities, nurturing your spirituality, and empowering you to make intentional choices. I will support you in learning skills to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, communicate and express yourselves, establish healthy boundaries, and navigate towards your goals. I’m an Asian-American therapist born in Vietnam and raised in San Diego, CA. As I grew up with different cultural influences, I recognize the importance of diversity, culture, relationships, and intergenerational experiences. My extroverted side loves traveling, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying different cuisines. My introverted side loves reading, listening to music, watching shows, and spending time to myself. I look forward to connecting with you to learn more about how I can support you along your journey.

College can be exciting, stressful, confusing, and really lonely all at the same time. Between classes, jobs, and figuring out who you are, it’s easy to feel isolated, stuck or disconnected from yourself. I’m a genderqueer therapist who works with lgbtqia+ students and those navigating loneliness, depression, identity, relationships, and feeling unseen or unheard. I take a gentle and explorative approach, noticing how your thoughts, emotions, and body show up in the moment. I love to support folks in figuring out their identity, managing perfectionism or “people-pleasing,” or healing from family or religious harm. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, playful, and sometimes funny (jury's still out on that one...). You don’t have to have it all figured out - you just need to feel ready to show up for yourself. And I'm here to show up alongside you. I also support folks seeking gender affirming care and write free letters for care services. 5 weekly sessions are required before a letter can be written.
Hi, I am Anna McDonald. I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in assisting individuals and couples to work through life's conflicts. I do so through a multi-faceted approach, focusing first on the unique strengths of my clients and then collaborating with them to be empowered and move through these challenges. Therapy with me is more than just, “How does that make you feel?” and nodding my head. Instead, I am an individual working to empower my clients with research-based knowledge to improve their life conditions.
Well, hey there—I'm Dr. Bennett, but around here folks just call me Nick (or “mental health wingman” because you don’t have to do it alone). I'm a Licensed Psychologist, Kentucky born with a curious mind and raised on good manners, sweet tea, and the belief that everyone’s story matters. I’m also a pretty decent listener, and the guy who’ll gently call you out when you’re being your own worst enemy (with Southern Grace, of course). I take a no-nonsense, client-centered approach to therapy—meaning we do what works, not just what’s in the textbook. I pull from all kinds of fancy-sounding things like CBT, EMDR (that eye-wiggle therapy that actually helps), mindfulness, and clinical hypnotherapy, but don’t let the big words fool you—I’m not here to confuse you, I’m here to help you get unstuck. Think of it like a mental tune-up with someone who won’t judge you for crying and cussing in the same sentence. I’ve worked with all sorts of folks—teens who'd rather be anywhere else, adults juggling more than they can carry, and elders who've seen more than most of us can imagine. I’ve helped folks through depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias (yes, including critters and public speaking), and life’s lovely little curveballs. I’ve worked with families involved with Child Protective Services, and I’ve spent time supporting folks in nursing homes, where wisdom and sass often come in equal parts. I’ve also had the honor of working with survivors of sexual assault and folks in the LGBTQ+ community—spaces where safety, respect, and a little humor go a long way. Before all this therapy business, I served in the U.S. Army and later, Army National Guard, with two combat deployments. So, if you’re a veteran or military family, know that I speak the language—boots, bureaucracy, and all. After all, camouflage isn’t just a pattern; it’s a lifestyle. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff and clinical. Sometimes it’s about laughing at the mess while working through it. When it comes to couples therapy, I use tools like the Gottman Method and emotionally focused therapy—basically helping y’all stop talking past each other and start actually hearing one another. I have also run group therapy programs that range from LGBTQ+ support and sexual assault recovery to anger management and domestic violence work. And nope, it’s not just people sitting in a circle saying, “I’m angry.” We get real, and sometimes even have a few laughs. Outside of therapy sessions, I also do psychological evaluations—for everything from disability claims to gender affirmation surgery prep to lawsuit support. It’s serious work, and I take it seriously—but I promise not to make it feel like you're on trial. I earned my PsyD from California Southern University, where my dissertation explored the link between toxic masculinity and sexual violence. (Spoiler alert: masculinity’s not the problem—toxic masculinity is.) My postdoc training happened in the redwoods of California and the hustle of D.C., so I’ve been around the block—and the mountains—and the monuments. If you're looking for a therapist who’ll shoot you straight, bring a little humor to the hard stuff, and treat you like a person—not a project—well then, you’ve found your guy. We’ll laugh, we’ll dig deep, and we might even change your life a little. Let’s get to work, y’all.

I combine psychotherapy with Somatic Experiencing, attachment focused EMDR and Cranioscaral Therapy to help my clients heal on the mind and body levels for optimal results. Healing is possible even if your issues seem insurmountable. Trust that you can reach wholeness and well-being again. I believe that the most important thing in therapy is finding a safe space to process the good and the bad of life. My goal is to guide you through your life experience and collaborate to create a plan that would help you achieve your goals, whether they are about work, health, relationships, family or personal growth. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I am trained to help children, teenagers and adults in individual, couples and family therapy. I have specially worked with Depression and Anxiety, Parenting and Behavioral Problems, Acculturation Problems and Domestic Violence. I work with CBT, Client Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy based on your needs. Feel free to ask what is therapy about if this is your first time. If you are considering returning to therapy, congratulations in being the best advocate for your health. Our minds need care just like any other organ of our bodies and therapy is one of the best ways to protect our amazing minds.
I specialize in helping adults and couples overcome anxiety, perfectionism, and people pleasing in their relationships. I will help you understand what your needs are so you can advocate, build boundaries, and thrive in your relationships. I know it can feel isolating to have anxiety, especially when it interferes with communication in your relationships, ability to be productive, present in the moment, and calm. Sometimes the courage in asking for help can help you build more trust in others and in yourself. Once you know your needs, you will feel empowered to make these changes and feel less anxious. With me, you will learn ways to regulate your emotions and communicate more clearly to build confidence and trust. I will work with you at your own pace. We do not have to dive right into what may feel uncomfortable to share. Let's first build trust and ease into the process. If you are interested in working together, I encourage you to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
