Evelyn Fehrlen, BA (she/her) is a Master of Social Work intern completing her final year at Grand Valley State University. Her education in both psychology and social work, combined with an advanced generalist training approach, has shaped a deeply holistic understanding of how systemic and environmental factors influence individual wellbeing.
Evelyn brings a warm, person-centered style to her work, prioritizing each client’s unique strengths and challenges. She specializes in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, and has developed a focused interest in supporting clients navigating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Evelyn is passionate about helping individuals better understand intrusive thoughts, compulsive patterns, and anxiety-driven behaviors while building practical, evidence-informed coping strategies. She strives to offer an affirming, empowering therapeutic space where clients feel both supported and challenged in meaningful ways.
Her lived experience allows her to connect with clients in a way that is authentic, compassionate, and rooted in real-world understanding. Evelyn is LGBTQIA+ allied and committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds and identities.
