Welcome, and congratulations on taking the first step toward seeking therapy—which can be intimidating for many people. I understand that discussing sensitive topics with a stranger can feel daunting, so I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive space that cultivates trust and allows clients to share their deepest vulnerabilities without fear of judgment or ridicule.

If you're dealing with academic stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, identity development, relationship issues, or the uncertainty that can come with transitioning from academia to the professional world, I can relate. I, too, have experienced many of these challenges during my college years. These are common and shared experiences for many young adults.

In therapy, we'll work together as a team to clarify your values and vision, explore areas where you may feel stuck, and discover alternative ways to navigate barriers that may be hindering your progress. Using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), you will learn practical tools to manage life's stressors more effectively. As we progress, I'm confident that you'll gain greater clarity about who you are, how you aspire to be, and how to pursue a path that aligns with your values and goals.

As Winston Churchill famously said, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
